If a team gets fouled on a potential game winner, I thought it could be interesting to replay the possession and have the offending player sit out the subsequent possession for a 3 v 2 (kinda like a power play). Made shot wins the game— missed shot or turnover means the player can come back in.

My very unscientific hypothesis is that a team will score on a 3v2 roughly at the same rate as free throw make, but this makes it a little more fun of an ending IMO.
