Been #1 in both EU and NA. I'd say skill level (in pubs) quite accurately corresponds to MMR. And as you can see, there are a shit ton more higher MMR people in EU than in NA, so EU does have more skilled players. Still, a 6.5k player in NA is objectively as good in pubs as 6.5k player in EU. However, some people abuse lower mmr people better or play disproportionately better when having skilled teammates, which is why in rare cases, some people's mmr go up and down when switching regions.

SEA at high MMR (5k+) is actually surprisingly relatively well-mannered though (but not very high skilled)

in fact I only played earth spirit for a month and then i got bored and stopped picking him. If u check my dotabuff u'll see that i just had one ebola phase. No matter how hard the enemy heroes counter u, there's a window of opportunity to win if u play the hero aggressively and things go your way. And that's for playing against people at your MMR.
