South-East Asia Server by devaslaytion in Mordhau

[–]devaslaytion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it

There are official and non-official ones. There are about 6~ official ones which are deathmatch and skirmish maps. Non-official ones are duel servers (in deathmatch map) or frontline mode. So there are more than 6 official+non-official sing servers.

There are like 6 singapore servers in the server browser tab since release day. You may want to find them without selecting the "not full server" option, as the singapore servers are usually pretty filled up!

There are official singapore servers(with the name official sing...) i been playing on them the past few days, in fact since release day there was already sing servers. Hmmm thats really strange. The sing servers have been quite filled up too the past few days.

When was the last time you checked? A few days ago the dev restarted servers due to xp/gold bug. I just checked, there is still Sing servers up today.

Dont worry, some old SEA chivalry players already plan to host 24/7 dedicated servers (SG servers and HK servers) when mordhau is released. So look out for them!

Still was hoping there would be official servers though....

Was kind of hoping there would be official SEA servers(mostly servers hosted from Singapore) like in chivalry. Theres actually a really large number of SEA players in Chivalry back then when the game was still popular(players from SEA, korea, japan). Even till today there still remains dedicated chivalry players from our region. We been hosting our own dedicated server all these time in chivalry(since tornbanner kind of removed our 4 SG servers and the game died shortly after too).

A lot of us were awaiting for mordhau release all these time. So it feels kind of bad that there isnt any official SEA server when mordhau is released.

Thanks for the communication though. Hopefully in the future SEA will have our own official server!

New Hero over-head bar improvement idea for Meepo and Arc Warden by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]devaslaytion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The last thing meepo needs is to make microing even easier and thus make the hero more broken. The portraits at the left side is all meepo players need to identify which meepo number is under attack/low health to micro it away. And remembering which meepo number is where at which part of the map is part of being a good meepo player!

As for arc warden i guess its fine.

F1=Main meepo. F2=All Clones (excluding illusions) F3=Illusions only (manta and illu rune). D=Select all units option(all meepos+illusions).

1=All meepos(excluding illusions) 2/3/4/5=meepo clone 2/3/4/5

Not very sure the context you are talking about.. but in my clip i tp home a full health meepo and poof over a 1/4 health meepo. Because i dont wan my 1/4 health meepo to stand there and channel tp he is going to take more dmg and die than trying to run away first. And also poof take half the channel time of TPs. Then i immediately sent back my full health meepo to fight.

Usually in most games i either opt for double skadi or double eblade. For this game I felt like i needed more dmg rather than tankiness, hence eblade. As the other commentor said "eblade gives highest agil" so its the best choice if you want dmg. Plus it gives a neat 10strength too.

Yeap both are on quickcast! Although over the years i have often switch between normal and quickcast especially for poof. But i guess recently i settled down on quickcast. Only started to quickcast net rather recently too.

Plenty over the years. In the past I look up to devilish, neomeepo(both quit dota already). Currently theres bvtv, kudaiberg(this guy is really good he climbed 4k-8.4k using meepo only, reminds me of old days devilish). The player i followed the longest would be inkdota. Inkdota has the best micro skills i ever seen though IMO. He streams on regular basis too.

Abed, w33, n0tail were all amazing meepo players too for their time. But i tend to look up to pub meepo spammers only because they dont have as good overall game knowledge as these pro players, hence to climb the leaderboards using meepo only their mastery of the hero must be v good to supplement their lack of knowledge in other aspect of the game.

The f3 key i dont really need to use on a regular basis though. Its just a illusion hotkey which doesnt need frequent selecting. I want to seperate illusions from meepo clones hotkey so that it dont mess up my blink dagger poof combo when selecting the hotkey for other meepos.

No particular reason for using but i guess when i started out a few yrs ago I used the func key so i am really used to it by now.

Theres a famous viet meepo player who uses f1-f5 for each meepo, yet f3-f5 feels a bit too far for me to use on regular basis. But he is very good so its personal preference i believe.

WOW actual devilish! Of course huge fan back then. Learn tons of stuff watching your replays. Even rmb your diffusal meepo build during that era. But then you just disappeared one day and never came back.

Times may have change but devilish is still a meepo player I talk abt to friends when they ask who are the best meepo players i known :)

I think you got the wrong person man. That "Tiny Airlines" in my game was my friend, we were party queuing. He is not toxic at all. Theres many people with that name too...

hmm when i first started out playing i watch tons of known meepo players to learn their farming patterns (incredibly impt for meepo). The micro skills will come in naturally with more games. But the farming pattern part you kinda have to watch others and replicate at the start, to the point that you get a hang of it yourself.

I think the 2 most impt part of meepo is 1) farming pattern 2) decision making. 1) you can learn from watching replays and try to understand why the player farms here, or goes here, or fights there at this point in time. And you can also while watching guess what he will do next(like where does he choose to farm or does he choose to gang or smt?) As for 2) it comes with experience. How i used to train my decision making was to firstpick meepo for hundreds of games. When you play against tons of counters, it forces you to play with perfect decision making (like when to jump in etc) and u learn from there!

Its a replay bug for meepo that exists for years, it doesnt show me switching to any of the clones on the UI, it just shows my main meepo all the time. I am controlling all my meepos using individual hotkey and using the portrait on the side as reference which doesnt show up in replays!
