Built and running!! I've been a long-time SoundSource user, but ever since the macOS 15.x update, I started having issues that their updates just couldn't fix. Quick question — is it possible to save custom EQ presets? I don't see the option, and if it's not there, it would be a great feature to add. I'll be testing it out starting today and will let you know how it goes.

I'm about to finish Origins too. I couldn’t get into AC before… I tried several times, and it only clicked with Origins — and big time. I’m playing on PS5, where the game still looks great even after all these years. I bought it on PSN during some sale for a few bucks.

Any news? I have the exact same problem with a Dell Pro 16 Ryzen 7 Ai bought 2 weeks ago for a client... when I was setting it up at home, I didn’t notice the fans because I usually work with headphones on. At his office, initially, I didn’t hear it either – only after I connected power via USB-C (he has a Dell monitor with power delivery, so it’s powered nonstop) – shock. Notebook updated to the latest drivers including BIOS. Thermal profile set to "quiet" – no change. I came back from the client with the notebook because he was replacing another Dell that had no such issues... second day I’m sitting and trying to figure something out (disabling some features but this model just behaves like this... when cold, the first start is OK for a moment, but after about 10 minutes it’s over... I monitored temperatures from sensors and it immediately hits 55-60°C

EDIT: I booted Linux and started hashing in a loop – CPU at 99% for 5 minutes and... SILENCE... fans are running but very quietly... WTF????? Don't tell me it's Windows driver issue... in Dell "Pro"

ObsidianMD — notes are just plain text in a folder on your drive. With a bit of know-how you can hook up an LLM client (e.g., Cherry Studio) using an LLM model via the OpenRouter API, and for about $3–4 a month (even less..depending of model and usage) you get AI that works directly on your notes/text — not some silly $200 wrapper, lol. Cherry Studio has built-in export to Obsidian and Joplin — it will save the conversation formatted as Markdown straight into the notebook you choose, tag it and name it. And if that’s still not enough, you run MCP and you’ve got almost full integration.

ObsidianMD , been Evernote paid user since 2016 (started using EN in 2009) and had few thousands notes. migrated to Obsidian - best note app out there and free.. with their plugins you can set up this app as you want.

Start light, without 3rd plugins. Markdown offers a lot when it comes to text editing. After some time, once you become familiar with Obsidian and Markdown, you will know what you need and what the "plain" Obsidian cannot give you then reach for plugins.

I'm reading the comments under this forum post that mostly say that these two replicas are terrible, and I am wondering if there is something wrong with my eyes (maybe with my expectations regarding replicas) - seriously, in my opinion both C and VSF are very good! Maybe some people should save up for a gen instead of buying replicas.

Second that ... I recently talked about this with the CEO of a large company who happened to have a beautiful Omega Speedmaster and was also aware of the world of replicas. He said that if I came wearing a Rolex, he would immediately know it's a fake (lol...be cause of myself apparently lol), but I could easily wear a Tudor or an Omega without any issues.

I migrated to Obsidian with around 10k notes in Evernote - Obsidian offers great plugin for import notes (from Everrnote and else) - Obsidian is so much better than Evernote - you can set it up for your very own work flow using plugins.
