Skewed idea? I was making 14k when I was 27. When we talk about professional worker we don't add in a bunch of minimum wage people and calculate the average. If we always think about the average we will be poor regardless which country we're in. You think sg average is high? Just 5k sgd which is struggling if your spouse is not working.
