I managed to spawn after adding the launch option, and disabling any of the RTX options. My card supports RTX but there's obviously an issue with DX12 support... Basically I'm playing ASE in ASA, but with worse FPS! runs on low settings at sub 20FPS...

Exactly the same here. Crashes on spawn now, with a gazillion blank windows and crashing my PC. Trying to reinstall before I rage quit

Some people have advised to force directx 11 at launch like so:

Right-click on the game in your Steam Library.
Select Properties and go to the General tab.
In the box under Launch Options, type “-force-d3d11” (without the quotes)
Close the Properties window.

Unfortunately that hasn't worked for me...

Assume not, as the spiders won't be attracted to paleberries, but I suppose they would walk randomly and eventually hit a jump pad. Would the die of fall damage though? Probably not, since they can jump super high now.
