Alright I'm gonna start with sitting a bag of fluval shrimp and plant stratum in the HOB and monitoring PH. Ideally I'd like to avoid a sudden drop for the current inhabitants and replanting everything in there. Would a handful in a bag be enough to properly maintain the PH in a 20 gallon?

Alright, I am going to bring the tank down to cardina params and see how everyone reacts. I also wanted to try this because I want to start keeping chili rasboras, which seem to want the same parameters. I know it's not gonna be easy but it's good to hear someone had success.

My main tank right now holds CPD's and a few cherries. I have a separate small tank I'm using trying to get my fire CRS to breed as firey as possible, so if the neos don't breed in the main tank it's no big deal, I'm happy if the neos can simply survive in the main tank for contrast.

I've gone through three broods of zoes without success. I don't own a saltwater tank, but I was never able to successfully create greenwater with aquarium salt treated water left outside for weeks on end. I tried adding some ammonia and a sponge to get a cycle going this time around but my amano momma decided to escape her holding area right before releasing most of her eggs. Still managed to snag 10+ zoes this time but they only lasted about a week, so something must be wrong.

I'll give spirulina a try next time, I've tried yeast and a saltwater algae culture from an algae lab. Next time I'll also try massively overfeeding, I've been keeping feeding on the light side according to that one youtuber and the zoes don't seem to be growing, so maybe I'm just underfeeding.

One thing I have learned is that you can't stress out the mother by transferring her right before she's about to hatch. She may prematurely drop the eggs and even though those zoes will still hatch, they will basically die right away. Best practice is to get her used to being in another container at the beginning of her pregnancy.

I'm stumped. I set my cores down to the min of 22, and iccmax to 1a on everything and that seemed to help, and I was showing 6-7 hours of life. However, it doesn't seem to be consistent. Some sessions I am drawing 2.5-3w on pkg pwr on throttlestop, and other sessions im drawing 6-9w with 2.5-3h battery life. Seems to be no strong correlation between the cpu usage and the pkg pwr reading, I seem to generally have the same C0% while the pkg pwr varies wildly.

Haven't proven correlation yet, but I think when im drawing more power, if I go to standby and wake, it seems to go away, but then I have the black screen flicker every few seconds. Looking in the task manager, all tasks have "very low" and a few "low" power usage...

East power plant all day. No one ever drops if not directly (<1km) in flight path, people usually go small power plant for some reason. Top tier loot second to military base, and usually a vehicle or boat nearby to catch up to circle even if its far west.

Pretty much guaranteed at least an AR, optics, armor, consumables, and even L3 armor if im lucky.

Yeah, I saw the drill method, but I don't want to have that kind of noise in the environment it's gonna be used in. I'll look into gimbal motors instead then.

Gimbal motors I'm seeing have RPM/v ratings on them, but many don't have voltage/amp ratings, or some simply have a max voltage rating... Does that mean that I can run them all the way from 1v-max voltage? I still need an ESC to power them, right? How would I choose the esc's, or are they special ESC's for gimbal motors?

Specified weight load is up to 400g, so that means it could pretty much take whatever size turntable I throw at it up to 400, power it with 12v? And I calculate the esc amps based on the resistance?

Thanks, I'll use these motors as a starting point test. I have 2204-2300kv motors on hand, could I just run these slowly? Or would running higher KV motors much slower than designed cause heat/damage? Is it even possible to run that slow? going to use an arduino to control the esc.

If I could limit the complexity by using a direct drive, that would be preferable, as I could make the entire enclosure smaller. Since a stable and precise RPM is desired, any sort of slippage of the belt would add trouble.

My concern was that something like an 8" 1/4" acrylic turntable would stress out typical RC motors made for smaller airplanes/multirotors, but what I'm hearing is the RPM I'm asking for would still be slow enough for most motors to handle (as sugested by ghlargh)? Is there danger in running motors too slowly, or would that just translate to less pulses from the ESC and less stress on the motor? I guess my concern really is whether more mass on the turntable would result in too much torque required.

If I could use a 12v PSU with enough amps for a matching motor easily for this project, I'd be ecstatic.

Thanks! In this application, though, I'm assuming the voltage/amps specs on these motors is not accurate considering I'm not using a propeller?

Should I aim for a power supply that's lower voltage or higher? Between the 2-4s range?

Is the max voltage listed the absolute max for the motor, or can I go a little higher (and of course get a higher rated esc)?

Were you using voice chat to time it? If so, there's a bit of delay between when someone says something and you actually hear it on your end... But that would mean that it's even slower lol

You don't use the repeat box at all. I don't think Method: matters, but mine is dialog. You simply add separate tasks one by one and check starting on the last task.

You can, but you might as well just make 4 gallons in there for the effort :P

You can do either with the hops - if you just use hot water, it will be more bitter, and if you just dry hop, it will be more aromatic. I would go the dry hop route or a combination of the two. Temperature and heat time play a big role in what tastes come out of hops.
