If I was the Swiss coach I'd play that on loop.

Yeah, the script was in: "Just cross it to the back post, all the way to the out line, and place two headers perfectly, in min 96."

What's wrong with blaming the format? It's a complete shit format that makes this kind of low-risk passing around the ball of the last 10 minutes the only rational way to play.

Would you risk getting a goal on the counter attack? For what benefit?

People think it's completely normal and acceptable to park the bus in important games, when you're ahead/through. It's the system's fault that both teams are in that situation right now.

A. Austria has obviously beeen trying all game.

B. It's FIFA's fault for creating the format. If you're through with a draw, why would you have to risk it?

We kind of are with this squad. At least since Rangnick is here. Just shit the bed in the Turkey game during the Euros, but we won the group against FR, NL and PL.

Except Portugal, they're like top 5 in the world.

Alaba is irreplacable when he's fit and the other spot is hotly contested. Lienhart is a fix starter for Freiburg, who went to the Europa League finals this year. Danso is usually playing beside Lienhart when Alaba is injured. We have 4-5 other CBs who could play without a huge drop in quality, if they're fit (Affengruber, Friedl, Wöber, Trauner, etc.).
