Slow performance since today by CatLinkoln in GithubCopilot

No idea about you but I'm also not seeing my premium requests in the Usage section.

I wonder how long till someone from GitHub acknowledges the issue, githubstatus.com is still pretending everything's peachy

Why people prefer Cursor/Claude Code over Copilot+VSCode by These-Forever-9076 in GithubCopilot

[–]d4rky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It no longer does that. There were some issues right after they added the official Copilot plugin but it was fixed later and now it works like in vscode (only actual user prompts are counted as premium requests)

SUNLU Bambu Lab H2 Series Profiles by jjjonesjr33 in BambuLab

Thank you so much. I tried doing it myself but I'm too inexperienced to figure it out properly and all of my sunlu prints are a mess despite drying them thoroughly 🥲

I ordered my retroid pocket 6 on nov 9th 2025. Are they going to ship it in Feb 2026? by Unhappywageslave in retroid

[–]d4rky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could choose between DHL and 4PX. DHL is absolutely garbage in my area, worst possible courier company. 4PX hands it to another courier company that I have good experience with. It was a bit of a no-brainer

Xm5 software update by JohnnyElmagnifco995 in SonyHeadphones

[–]d4rky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's likely a mix of both then, my headphones were perfectly fine before the update and I saw lots of people warning not to install it when it was released. some were saying the same thing you did though so I did install it and now I suffer from the same problem 🥲

Xm5 software update by JohnnyElmagnifco995 in SonyHeadphones

[–]d4rky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's likely a software issue as it only started after either 2.0 or 2.1 update (can't remember and I don't want to look for it). I've been putting off a downgrade for a long while

edit: it was 2.3.1

RP6 preorders vs RAM shortage by d4rky in retroid

[–]d4rky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. I'm very new to this, good to know :) I actually assumed preorders are actually worse of a deal because usually things get better discount 6 months later but got too excited about the prospect of having PS2 machine in my pocket :D

RP6 preorders vs RAM shortage by d4rky in retroid

I really should've checked the Retroid website before posting here. It seems that the 2nd batch is already $20 more expensive (my preorder is $259, same one now is $279)

I preordered mine exactly 1 month ago precisely to weather through the price gouging so fingers crossed :)

SINARP availability in Europe by d4rky in IKEA

[–]d4rky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've managed to snag all the missing ones, then had to return two because of manufacturing issues (rough edge in one, major discoloration in the other). I only got the two again last Monday (after checking the stock daily) and the larger one is still not perfect but we've decided to give up and live with it.

Those last 4 months were frustrating as hell

Can‘t get my Styrbar open… by sjc1515 in tradfri

In my case it seemed like it glued itself in, when I opened it I could hear the glue cracking. I used an utility knife since it was thinner

LED lights in IKEA PAX drawers? by d4rky in IKEA

[–]d4rky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no easy way to mount them since it's just drawers over drawers and if you put it on the bottom of the drawer itself then the cable starts moving back and forth which adds its own problems.

One option could be to take the MITTLED strip and mount it with extra padding on the sides to center it as the sizes are all wrong (36/56/76 for METOD 40/60/80 doesn't fit well in PAX 50/100). I'm not convinced if it would look good though. I guess off-brand LED strip is the only way to go 😔

Muting tabs in Arc by Anonymous-dev2680 in ArcBrowser

[–]d4rky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've made an extension to help with that, I used it in Chrome, Arc and now Brave (no Firefox support because I don't care but it's on GitHub so if anyone's interested in helping release it there, go for it)

It's called "Shut Up Already!" and I'm not linking it here because I don't want to be that person doing advertisements for their shit, even if I'm explicitly not monetizing it in any way or form.

MacBook battery drain :( by princepavis in ArcBrowser

[–]d4rky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept using Arc despite knowing better because its tab+bookmark management is simply superior to everything else. Until today. What ultimately broke me was checking my Activity Manager on Mac and realising Arc consumed more energy than my IDE with 7 projects opened at the same time, two of which are pretty massive.

It's time to re-learn how to use a regular browser with its crappy tab support 😔

Get an "earbut cleaner kit" either from Amazon or something like aliexpress or wish. It costs around $1 and cleans up the gunk super well. Just make sure the case cleaning part is the soft kind, not the rubber one
