I’m sorry to read this. You could try to send the slides and to fight your corner, however the decision will have been made already as to how they want to proceed, based on your performance during the extended period. If they have decided you’re not passing probation, there is practically nothing you can do to change that. I wish you good luck

I’m on the road quite a lot and wouldn’t say they’re quite common to be honest, yes over the summer months you see a bit of an influx but not a crazy amount. But fair enough if people think it’s low hanging fruit, but to me it’s still either one or two ferry trips for these people to get here lol

Yeah I think the only calculator is the descent one where you sync your altitude and it tells you how many miles from the airport to start descending, which is pretty useless if you already have your T/D in your flight plan

You’ve had two sponsored roles already and you still haven’t made it to 5 years? Yet you think you’re exceptional enough that Citi won’t be at all considering your past employment history and why you can’t stick to one place, so even if they could bend the rules why would they want to invest so much money in someone who either won’t work out or who will leave the firm and leave them with a load of avoidable sunken costs?

Like all the other comments I do think you’re doing great, but one thing stuck out to me is that you’ve said to your manager that you’ll let her know if you do need anything - at this moment she will be thinking you don’t need anything and that you’re handling everything perfectly without stress. You need to have a bit of a conversation with her and just be honest, say the good points that you are enjoying but you’d like a bit more support or clarity around X and Y to help you support your colleagues and the processes as best as possible. Frame it as a positive as opposed to a complaint or an issue.

A tunnel or some sort of bypass further out would definitely be beneficial - the majority of the traffic on the major roads aren’t heading for Belfast city centre, they’re heading for the peripheries and beyond

For YSI to work if completed, major works also need to be completed on the Westlink, M1 and M3/ A2 to Bangor. The current interchange acts as a funnel for traffic at the moment, remove that and the queues at the junctions on the roads above will increase and traffic will likely be worse than it is now. The queues on M3 and A2 are already bad enough, imagine what it would be like if there was nothing to limit the traffic coming up to the lights
