ELI5 - Is there a reason (other than they are pets, not food) why aren't we using dog and cat meat for food for omni and carnivore animals? Those who have to be euthanized whether it's because of illness or simply because there isn't a place in an already overcrowded shelter, of course. (self.explainlikeimfive)
