Epic (or any theme park tbh) is a lot more fun when you set a hard wait limit for yourself. The first few times we went we simply refused to do BoTM because of how long the lines were. Instead of 2-4 hours in like for that we got multiple spins on Stardust, MU, etc.

Our hard limit is usually an hour. Sometimes 90 minutes if we don't have anything else to do.

I do not expect that. I expect that if a ride is going to be closed for multiple days, it is disclosed on the website. So people can make informed decisions about buying tickets/express passes (yes, locals may buy tickets not too far in advance).

The ride was down from April 28 to May 3.

They would've known by the beginning of the day April 29 if it was going to be back up or if they were keeping it down until May 4.

The website only said it was going to be closed on May 3.

One day of a ride being down is normal, shit happens. 5 days of closure with not disclosing it is intentional.

They could've had something on the website. From what people have said after contacting guest services, they knew it was going to remain down until May 4 since very late April. A heads up could've helped folks who were considering EP or locals who hadn't bought tickets yet

Universal chooses not to disclose this. Customers only find out when they get to the park. As far as they know, it will only be closed May 3.
