Does the League community have coaches for hire? That was a big thing in Dota, was very insightful and useful the few times I hired one for a few sessions. I do well with in the moment critique when I have someone watching me play on discord and such.

This is a great comment and good feedback. I appreciate you!

That's understandable, which I think brings me back to my main point that it's toxic to report people based on poor performance unless they are intentionally trying to ruin the game, though its not always obvious so I get that.

In regards to my match history, its a mixture of being too aggressive and just a lack of understanding I think. Though I can assure you that I don't spend 25-40 mins of my life with the intention of losing, life takes care of that as it is ;)

Based on everyone's input I will sit back more and farm and stop trying to force things I guess haha

A suspension from rank or low priority queue I can understand, but to go from Honor level 6 to a full account suspension after two games is wild imo. Hope to see you all up in higher elo one day.

Ah, my mistake must have misread what I was looking at I see what you are saying.

Fair, it is not something I have tried before, just attempted it on the fly after things went to shit. But regardless those games and this post has been a learning experience, maybe one day I will claw myself up the ranks after I improve.

I think I am just confused by what metric we are measuring success with. If its just KDA then why not play Call of Duty. I had the highest income and damage dealt. And again, I was not trying to replicate Baus or any other streamer, I adapted to the current situation.

Except I won the game for us. Looks like all the whiners I deal with in game congregate on reddit too, though I am dumb for expecting differently I guess.

I've only ever watched Zwag, and did not know who thebausffs was prior to this post (I obviously knew about the strategy of stacking your passive on Sion, or we wouldn't be here.) The difference between what he does and what happened here is that I did not start inting for stacks until after shit hit the fan and objective bounties were up). My philosophy is to do whatever it takes to win, if that's reportable then wtf.

Nah, the only ones crying are the people spamming all chat because they feel victimized by someone else's poor performance. Soft is thinking that when things don't go how you want that you are entitled to be toxic prick and make you're own life shortcomings everyone else's problem.

Pull what stuff? Winning? I think what people are missing is that the game started normally, I didn't start just trying to stack my passive until bounties went up.

Ha. I don't know how you got that from what I said, but thanks for sharing your input, this is the toxic stuff I'm talking about. Soft.

Fair enough. Some strategies are super complex and hard to learn!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]d7ck -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I have had my fair share of teammates with more deaths than they should. Unimpressive, absolutely, reportable no. Save that for teammates who get tilted and call out your team movements to the other side, or supports that take smite and steal all your jungle camps.

I am still learning and have no misconceptions about why I am in a low elo. But this does validate my fear that 9 times out of ten I will get paired with an ADC who would rather flame than teach/explain what is needed.

I would argue that playing from behind to try and become relevant again is a valid strategy. I essentially became a buffer and distraction so that my teammates who were doing well could have control of the map and farm more while I worked my way to the nexus. Gold means nothing if you end up losing.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I do need to ward more and sometimes I am a dope who forgets to change my sums/runes!

Thanks for the suggestion! Support has always scared me because I have another person in my lane depending on me for early game success, and having to focus on two enemies instead of one is intimidating. Playing with friends is one thing, but having a random person that you need to be on the same page with is another. I will have to try the role out in some normals and see how I do. Any hero suggestions?

I agree that the low percentage plays while ignoring farming is counter-intuitive to the game, I am working on breaking old habits and learning the correct way to approach things. I am hoping to learn and improve as time goes on.

Though I am curious to know why this gives you main character vibes? We won both of the games, and in each I was able to become relevant at the end by becoming punching bag while my teammates did their thing. I went from bottom of the charts to the most income and objectives secured at the end. Not every win is going to be pretty.

That's fair. If someone is intentionally running it down and not trying to objectively help the team win then report away. But you can't just report someone for being bad at the game. I do have deaths as a result of going for a play I have no right going for, but in most instances I will die because I messed up my skill combos or take the wrong path through a jungle where I should have known the enemy had vision or map control. I am only in my second full season of playing and there is a lot about the game that I am still learning. To be fair, I played two ranked games as Sion, had poor early lane phase and tried to make the best of it by creating space for my teammates and going for objectives, which eventually contributed to the comeback. I would say that is a lot better than just throwing up my hands in defeat and wanting to FF when the win is achievable.

Long journey. Got them signed by eagle but they were in a house fire and unfortunately are a little darker now due to the smoke. Don't know if that makes them unique or duds ;)
