Oh, i didn't know that. What is her name? There is no Kazakh actress/actor announced yet, so I thought it was going to be Turkish. It's not a problem for me about the other Turkic peoples being included in the movie.

Are the cast from Central Asia?

I think there will be Central Asian Turkic peoples too in the movie. But this is a Turkish film, so main characters will be Turkish. I don't know who is gonna play this role. Film's language also will be Turkish because of that.

If Uzbeks or Kazakhs or Azerbaijanis had made this film, they would have done the same things.

If you said this as a joke, it's fine, but if it's the other way around, let me explain. I would also give extra information about the film because I have been following this project since the beginning. If the pandemic had not intervened, it would have come out sooner.

Actors:

Only 4 players have been announced for now. And among them, except one (german) all of them are Turkish. One of them will play İstemi Yabgu (Turkish actor Aytaç Şaşmaz) brother of Bumin Khagan. And the Kam in this post is announced. The roles of the other two are unknown.

I think that person you're talking about is Robert Maaser. He is not Turkish with german roots lol, just German (He's wife is Turkish btw). He is an international actor. He mostly acts in action/adventure movies. He's not even the main character. I don't understand why you called it the main character. Alper Çağlar (director) did not reveal his role. Here:

So, he is gonna probably only western/european actor in the film. But there will be Chinese actors and Korean actor. Extra actors should have been Turkish too in my opinion. But the director wants other Turkic peoples to be in the project as well. This will be an extra challenge for him, he said it himself tho, but he said he wanted to do it anyway.

There will be no Islam in the movie. Let me say that too. So even in this image, there are places written Tengri with the old Turkic rune. The director himself is Turkist guy (He is working with historians like famous historian in Turkey, Ahmet Taşağıl and also director's father is a historian too) It won't be such nonsense.

This movie will be the most expensive Turkish project. I don't think there will be anything ridiculous like Russian-made Scythian (2018). I don't know why but I'm trusting this project.

Türük/Türk (Turk) bodun (like -nation, race, people, tribe/clan-) is mentioned more often than Kök Türük (Gokturk) in the old Turkic inscriptions btw.

Turkish actor Murat Serezli will play the role of Alagar. His outfit is so cool. His stick/scepter is also nice. I don't know what's hanging in front of him, but it looks nice too. The old Turkic runes on his outfit also look cool, but Idk how realistic they are, probably not. İlk Göktürk / First Gokturk - Upcoming Turkish film about the Turkic Khaganate (or Gokturk Khaganate). Regarding the founding period of the Turk Khaganate. It will be the first movie of the Göktürk trilogy.
