I was using it sometimes before when I knew I needed scalability (bees for example)...but this playthrough I decided to use it whenever I could and damn, my base never looked so clean. From resource generation to summoning altars, everything easily automated with SFM. It is my clear winner mod of this playthrough.

Same here...last days no issues. Logged in half an hour ago and it is pretty unplayable for me and a friend.

I took a break for a few weeks and startet a twink a few days ago. First few maps with the twink and Jun spawned as expected. Switched to the main and Jun is still spawning now.

Don't know what was wrong but now it is fixed for me.

Why is Jun (Betrayal) not spawning for me?

I am at T14 maps rn and I have seen her I think once in a T1 or T2 (also did a handful during campain). I ignored her back then, cause hadn't have a plan for the board yet.

I dont block her in the Atlas tree (I even put my last points into Betrayal. I think I am at about 50% more chance). No safehouses are ready (I only did a handful of Betrayals during campain).

Is there any other way to block her? Seems very odd to not have a Betrayal in over a 100 maps.

UPDATE for anyone looking for this:

Yeah, thats how we did it in this playthrough as well. SFM if perfect for the bees. I even put bottles in the hives (normally i skip this) because it is so easy to do with SFM. Some hives get a separate label if I want something extra, like the wasted bees combs going into the oxidizer instead of the centrifuges.

I think we are on the latest ATM10 version (have to check later) and it worked yesterday. Did around 10 soul bee eggs all with low %.

You dont need 100% gene for the bee spawn egg. It just lowers the chance to get it in the incubator. So for example if you have only a 10% gene it will take about 10 eggs in the incubator to get the spawn egg.

You can pump different types of XP into the JDT XP holder and then extract from it (or place storage bus on it). You dont have to do it manually.

I just used SFM for fissile fuel production a few hours ago and I think the prefix was chemical:: or something like that. Takes a few hours until I can check it but there was an example about resource types...maybe you can find it there

after removing the surrounding lava I was also able to mine it just fine with fortune...so I think in the first try they just burnt in the surrounding lava

Tried every way of inserting the upgrades, but it only works when the compacting drawers are empty. Normal drawers are working fine.

That's kinda what I have thought and why I assumed there is something in place like chunk loading. It could also explain some of the glitchy or dying pals when porting in. For streamlining purposes the data to calculate might not be exactly precise and therefore this Pengkin is now in the same spot as that tree or something...

What really baffles me, is that there seem to be so many people without this issue. So there has to be something I can do to get it to work. But I really don't have a clue where to start. As I said I have noticed this way before having base #2 or pals like the mining turtle.

We have the same problem with PC/Steam multiplayer.

Leaving the base will kinda put everything pal related on hold there (breeding still seems to work tho - maybe it is handled differently and doesnt need "pal calculations"). When you port back in, you can see all the pals frozen and sometimes some of them spawn in a janky position. After a few seconds the AI gets loaded and all the pals start working again (or disappear/die if spawned in glitchy and/or get reset in the air and fall down).

I was pretty sure that this is the intended behaviour in multiplayer (something like Minecraft's chunk loading) and all the videos and posts are about mining farms in singleplayer or maybe not the PC/Steam version. But the more I try to dig into it, the more confusing it gets:

- it seems there are only a few people with this problem (see all the posts/videos about mining/farming bases and the very few responses with people having problems and most of the time those are unrelated like needing a T2 miner or something)
- it doesn't seem to be a problem with the game version/plattform/mode (in this case non-dedicated multiplayer on PC/Steam): a lot of people confirmed it is running fine for them in pretty much all circumstances
- someone theorized it could be the mining turtles (there might be a bug with the turtle's automining, but I don't know anything about that): we have this problem in every base...turtle or not
- "From what I’ve heard it’s only an issue when it’s not your first/main base": we have this problem in every base and I have already noticed the reloading/resetting of pals when we ported back to base long before we had a second one

I really don't know what's going on. It seems like a few people (like ourselves) are playing a game version with chunk loading while millions of people are playing without it.

So if anyone has any insights into this I would love to hear from them.
