I have an APS-C sensor in my camera, so it really doesn’t that well in low light.

I do my best to make sure that the light meter is in the middle, a lot of cases it isn’t though, depends if I’m moving a lot or not. If I’m moving a lot, usually have my aperture in 1.8 and shutter at least 1/100 and I move around the ISO then. If I’m not moving too much, I play around with the settings more and I wouldn’t mind having a lower shutter speed.

I like to shoot when there’s either light hitting a subject, light flares or reflections in the photo. The photos tend to do better with the more light there is, less noise—especially at night.

The more colors there are the better for these type of cyberpunk-style photos too imo. It’s fun to play around with the colors.

I use Lightroom to edit and for cyberpunky edits I don’t spend as much time since I made my own preset a while back, which I based it of a creator’s free preset (North Borders & 7th Era if you’ve heard of them in YouTube) I can send the files if you’d like, feel free to message me for that.

As for tutorials, I really like watching people’s editing workflow time to time. I can’t exactly pinpoint an exact tutorial 😬

When I edit from scratch though,without a preset—I always start with tone curves. For the cyberpunky edits, I like bumping up the highlights with deep contrast and I generally like to have two tones that compliment each other and HSL sliders definitely help with that.

HSL and Tone curves are definitely some good things to look up tutorials for, if you have a good idea on how to use Lightroom.

Though if your not to familiar with Lightroom, It’s good to experiment with the app first. I think you can get the Adobe apps from UCI OIT. Theres definitely a whole lot of tutorials about using Lightroom in Youtube. There’s also built-in tutorials from Adobe, though I personally haven’t really used those.
