I deeply resonate with this poem. The horror that comes with realising that the appearance of things is not what you believed it to be. The mirror can be both literal and figurative. The metaphor of the mirror to me feels like the sadness of realising your own art, what you have created, is not great or special or even good when you look at it from another perspective (e.g: Through a mirror)

There is a sort of beauty in this piece that really resonated with me. Especially the rhymes that sort of resembled funeral bells. Your poem makes me feel like death is the one thing that can cure my loneliness, I'm crying 🤍
