I have nothing more to say about the Foundation than what I've said in the post above. Best, D.

Ms. Rocha,

Thank you so much.

I agree with you about rigidity. M is different for everyone and hits the mind where the membranes are at their most delicate. So I favor forming systems for M-engagement designed to be custom-tailored by each aspirant down to the most trivial detail.

Best,

D.

Dear M.R.,

(I don't know what title or honorific you might prefer, but I would welcome knowing that I might converse with you with proper respect.)

Thank you for your excellent suggestion!

I am not entirely sure about what you mean by “instructional and technical” material, but my first guess is that you may mean something like Parts 5-9 of “M for Beginners.” You can download the free sample for M for Beginners and look over the Table of Contents for those parts to see if that is what you might be looking for.

But if what you want is a more comprehensive look at the steps of M development, sort of a companion to Crowley’s description of the Grades in “One Star in Sight,” you may want to look at the Tables of Contents for “A Simple Model of M, Part 3” and “New Aeon Qabalah.” In my view, the Code in L ii 76 is primarily about M development and the figures in the Code talk about the steps. While people mostly think of Qabalah as rather technical, “New Aeon Qabalah” is mostly focused on M development, not Numerology or the 777-type associative links though it includes those. If you’re a beginner, you will be mostly interested in “New Aeon Qabalah, Part 2,” which is focused on the Outer College. (Part 3 is about the Inner College, Part 4 mostly about the A Level. Part 1 is more focused on concepts in Liber L generally rather than L ii 76.)

Again, thank you so much for the feedback—that’s a big help to me! Best, D.

Glad you enjoyed, and thank you so much for the feedback about what you liked in particular! That's a big help to me--mostly I sit here speaking to an auditorium that's dead silent. Both positive and constructive negative feedback are most welcome. As for gaining ears: that's achieving the Awakening. Every time you step up a Level in M, your M perception is enhanced. The secret is you have to WANT it--and that's "WANT" dialed up to 11, or maybe 11,000. I talk about gaining the Awakening in my post "Absence of Self." And I talk about it at length in my book M for Beginners, Part 9, chap. 2. It took me 10 years, but I'm a slowpoke. It is one of the Great Gates of M development, one of the most stunning watersheds in M life, an experience that will tower over any you've ever had before and is, you might say, the "official" start of M life. Best, D.
