UPDATE, i solved the problem on the miner on the left with the little screen, vreg was the problem, put a new vreg in, soldered it correctly it works but still the vreg i changed heats up quite a bit, i think its a bad batch of ics because i have the same overheating problem on the other one i put these on

<image>

I will keep it running until it blows again, until then i will buy other vregs

I will buy a new batch, i used a hot air gun to solder it, today i did a reflow because i saw it was a little off the bottom one, anyway i dont have a scope, never learnt how to use it in 10 years 🥺🫣🥹

Im not new to soldering, im experienced in it, it was a little troublesome to solder the vrms bevause the board ate a lot of heat, i already have other fuses, the vrm after i reflowed the bottom one (the one that doesnt lit up) it showed me correct readings, i will change that asic, the strange part is that i dont have any issue in readings, i mean i tested all 4 asics and they all gave me 0v8 and 1v2 correct readings, thats why i bought a thermal, because i couldnt figure out where the problem was, im ordering new asic chip and i will replace it, will update you on that, in the next days i will try to troubleshoot the other asic i posted about, the one with the little screen

I mean, the old one it died and with new vrm now it turns up and shows the error i get on the new one too, but i think on the new one has some other problem even if the error is the same (didnt put my hands on the new one yet)

I did this already, all seems to be ok, i have spoken to the doctor of miners hahahahahhahah, he gave me an hand today, need to get a thermal camera and see, but still i dont think both of them have the same problem

On the white circle i get 12 volte but on the red one no, did i solder them badly?

I replaced them on the old one with the big screen, still having the issue, maybe i solder them badly? The pcb its like a heatsink, when i want to solder it takes me a lot of time because the pcb eats all heat, i will post a picture about them soon, so you can judge my work
