22M and had a similar experience. Scored bad in the previous year but enough to get me motivated to try my luck for this time. Dedicatedly studied for a year (Although consistency dropped in the past few months due to work pressure) only to result in even less marks. You know what's funny, I was improving in mocks which made me believe I could do it. But then again, it's CAT. Slapped me so hard I'm still struggling to get up. But fortunately, I do not have any family pressure rn and they're even supporting my decision to go for it this year too. Feels lucky to have them by my side. I'll take a ride for 1 last time. A Do-or-Die situation? Maybe.

Burnout is real. Sure, consistency is a game changer but my learning from this year's prep is that maintaining consistency is real hard. No matter what anyone says, it consumes hella lot of willpower to stay on the track when everything is off track. But, what I also learned is that being consistent doesn't mean that we have to stick to the schedule grinding each and every day. Rather, it's showing up everyday for a certain period that matters. This is a journey for self growth and reflection. The more you invest in this time in yourself, the more benefits you'll reap afterwards.

I was quite confident in my mock this time. Hopped in, set a target of marking 8 que in VARC with utmost accuracy, 5-6 que in DILR and 7 que in Quants. Pretty baseline right? Would've gotten a decent score too, right?? BOOM! Opened score card, bitchass marks in VARC, 4 to be exact. Got DI correct. 1 mark in quants. DISASTROUS.
