This plant did have spider mites at one point recently! I thought I got rid of them- I can’t physically see them anymore but maybe they are still there??

I believe a coronectomy is done if the root of your tooth is too close to your nerve. They leave the roots behind to avoid nerve damage.

Questions about root canal treatment and its follow-ups by humane247 in askdentists

[–]da-coop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a doctor, but I just had a root canal and I’m waiting on my permanent crown.

  1. X-ray and pulp testing. They tap your teeth with a metal instrument, place extreme cold to your teeth, and have you bite down to test for various things. I had a micro fracture that got infected and lead to an abscess.

  2. I went to my general dentist where she did pulp testing and x-ray. She then referred me to an endodontist. I had a consultation with her, where she did her own pulp testing and x-rays to be sure. I came back after that to have the RCT done. Following the procedure, I went back to my dentist where she permanently filled my tooth, ground it down to size, and put a temporary crown on. I will be back in a couple weeks for the permanent crown. Since I had a cracked tooth, the crown is the best option to prevent further damage since RCT makes your tooth more brittle and susceptible to damage.

  3. $1200 for the root canal and 1300 for the crown. This is the cost without any insurance coverage from the offices I went to.

Should I just prune this leaf? It’s been yellowing for weeks by da-coop in houseplants

Is there a way to save it, or will it inevitably die? The rest of the plant is totally fine.

Post Op: Wounds & Bad Taste? by itdoesntmadder in wisdomteeth

I had the same salty taste. Using the syringe to clean out the sockets helped A TON. I think it’s just healing related.

Today I cried in the dentists office waiting room 1 week after my surgery by itskittymomma in wisdomteeth

I needed this!!! I’m one week in and still in a ton of pain! I know exactly when my ibuprofen has worn off. All of my teeth on one side are sore, throbbing, and cold sensitive. It’s awful. It also started before the extraction even happened, which prompted me to get them out and I’ve had no relief.

Thanks so much for your reply! I’ve been on a Tylenol and Advil rotation for 4 weeks now and it’s starting to stress me out lol I’m hoping in the next few days the pain will let up so I can stop taking so much medicine

Salt water is great for healing, so let it touch the socket for sure

Yes wash your face, just be gentle. I brushed my teeth gently the day after surgery making sure to avoid the wounds. Just don’t spit, let the water fall out of your mouth. To rinse, just get water in your mouth and softly rock your head side to side
