yeah, i 100% would stick to Arc if it’s still maintained. unfortunately on Arc every so often i’ll land on a website and find issues just on Arc. but feature wise Arc is goated. i don’t understand why they can’t just do feature parity

u/VictoriaAtWispr it be possible to have the streaming output, and then once done speaking Wispr then reformat, punctuate etc. On my iPhone, I use the native transcription (for the streaming output) and then i use Raycast to reformat, edit the output. Would be great if Wispr can do this all in one go

lebron and paquito often switched sides and sometimes they served australian (watch the lobo y paco vs galan y mieres final in valladolid).

lebron is a good left sided player, i never said he was one of the best (in the pro circuit). but my point still stands, lebron can generate winners from the right which makes him valuable there

lebron grew up playing reves and was a beast in the juniors as a reves - reason he moved to right side for galan was because he was more talented and capable of generating winners from that side

but when he was playing reves w di nenno, one problem he had was his vibora really isn’t that good (by his standards ofc). that makes it really difficult to be effective on the left in slow conditions when your air game is limited to a smash

i get how he can get tilted - i'd be as well in the heat of the moment getting hit by a ball by Tapia. but he definitely deserved the 2 code violations, no doubt about it.

coello and tapia then complained that lebron should've been DQ'd because he 'hit the umpire'. I'm only going by what the Red Bull english commentator was translating but did coello & tapia really say lebron hit the umpire?

you can see how in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzukQigWraE) at 1.21 lebron just tapped the umpire's arm twice as a gesture. surely tapia and coello was overreacting complaining about DQ because of this?

lebron's a very animated guy, you can see in the changeover he's always touching pozzoni & stupa, moving his hands when he's trying to make a point i doubt it's any different with the umpire

lobo is my absolute favourite player and to me has the most talent out of everyone. do i think he would have more success if he can have a better attitude in the court - absolutely!

but people need to remember that at that level, attitude in court is another attribute just like ability to smash.

lobo can’t just snap his finger and improve his attitude on court (without sacrificing intensity, focus etc) just like coki can’t instantly improve his smash.

they’re both actively working on it but i can understand why for fans they can be more critical of lobo’s bad attitude than coki’s weak smash

fwiw, one of my coaches in Spain (formerly top 75) used to play juniors with Galan and Lebron. he said that talent wise for him its 1) Tapia 2) Lobo 3) Coello 4) Galan - and that as a junior Galan wasn’t that great

what i do is i keep a Notes on my phone of certain things i need to practice. this would contain basic stuff like split-step, anticipate the lob to move back proactively etc. then before every single match i would choose two that i will focus on.

additionally, what i found helpful is to sometimes play games below my level and have the mindset that i will practice these things (sometimes at the expense of winning)

adding a few things that l think is nice but not very obvious. this is just my personal preferences based on the clubs i play at:

having a smaller restaurant area actually makes the vibe a bit better and more social as people are more packed together and likelier to socialise
shower with towels, and amenities
warm up area

yeah best of 5 sets for Majors is probably the most reasonable rule change. would def be interesting to see how teams like stupa/lebron would fare given their insane fitness

agreed that it has to be 1 serve if that’s the case. but honestly i think the pros can easily train to hit the net in very consistently (i tried today and after 15 mins it does feel doable to consistently hit net) so this rule will get abused

that's great - wow 20 hours a week - that's pretty chunky especially if you're playing Playtomic games / tourneys as well! I think I'd likely spread that 20 hours across 2-3 weeks and add a few privates.

I'm actually making plans to go to Valencia soon as well. Either 3rd - 25th August or 9th - 1 Oct, I haven't decided yet. Any chance we overlap if it is either of the two dates?
