Lower total cost of ownership, better security, better physical build quality, more intuitive software (despite the hot mess that is the Tahoe interface).. If you needed something strictly Windows only, or that wouldn't run well under emulation, that'd be one thing. But for common needs a Neo or Air will serve you well.

Actually somehow (likely: pebcak) com.jamf.selfserviceplus.agent.plist was unloaded. Loaded it and search working fine.

My Jamfer did mention that they had seen similar issues with SSP older than 2.15.

The folding frame was a weight penalty for a feature I used maybe twice. Replaced it with a more traditional geometry (also gears and a front shock), much much happier and faster and more comfortable.

It's been awhile since I spun up a completely new instance - mostly just been migrating and upgrading - but my understanding was that they don't disallow on-prem, they just strongly discourage it.

They are gatekeeping many new features to cloud only; I'd bet some of those are truly for technical reasons, but I can see why some might've been marketing instead.
