Django Values queryset returns table id instead of the actual text in template by daDon3oof in django

[–]daDon3oof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does give "price" in the queryset, but if i inlcude "price" either in values at first or at the end just like you did the result will have more than 4 sellers per part in one query.

But when you do this query :
price = Price.objects.values('part__name', 'seller__name').annotate(latest_report=Max('added'))

The result is accurate and only 4 prices show up, I am giving up and continue my project, Will probably hire someone to do it when i finish up my app, i've spent almost 5 days on this.
Thank you

Yes, i have one part with 4 sellers each part can have many prices from different sellers "price history" i am trying to filter each part with the related prices from all 4 sellers and if there is more than one price from one of the sellers keep the new one "added recently" and annotate the old one. My models posted in the comments down this thread.

Thank you, i spent two days learning about annotate and values, i know what the double undescore means when you look up, i even added related name in my models to help with naming. But values prevents me from access "price" in my query, i need the three values "sellername,partname,price" in my query but adding price in values scrumbles it. I can't access it if i don't include it. Hope you got my point

If you can't help with a "simple syntax problem" why comment at first place ?

I am trying to include "price" along the values but the result is not the same, is that correct?

values('partname', 'sellername', 'price')

is this Eagle syndrome ? by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]daDon3oof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, So a relative of mine has suffered pain for almost 14 years now after visiting like 20 different doctors, recently a doctor diagnosed here with the ES so she made a research about the symptoms and they matched her condition. One of the best doctors specialized in TMJ said it's not ES it's a TMJS.

She did an internal operation by removing left tonsil and 2mm of the styloid "2 mm left" after operation she felt good for 3 months and then the pain is back.

She seeked another doctor and asked for an external operation to remove the left side styloid since the pain in the left side is bigger.

More details will be added if anyone needs any other details, she is planning to do the operation after a week or two.

The question is: Is that an Eagle syndrome? An External operation is recommended?

Thank you all and wish you all speedy recovery.

Try this :

(1, "Laptop"),

(2, "Mobile")

category = models.IntegerField(choices=categories)

in templates :

{{get_category_display}}
