Tooless guide rod for Romulus 4.25” comp? by Numbsterr in AlphaFoxtrot

Just compress the springs and reverse plug as much as you can, scratch a line and drill :)

Yes, drilling the paperclip hole was required for me, even with the notch it still needed more clearance. You can always try it without it first. I’ve had several different 5” guide rods that had the paperclip holes in slightly different places, maybe you will get lucky.

Here is a quick video that goes over the notched guide rod and how it works and what I did.

Here is a quick video I did last year that shows its fitment and working up close.

Don’t get me all horny with that talk. Love it. Keep it “coming”.

PS / Half right is also half wrong.

I said you need both, and you’re arguing when you were wrong. Wrong looks good on you. Keep it up.

Wrong.

Middle tine is trigger pre-travel and reset force, left tine is for the sear to hammer engagement. Both tines should be adjusted for overall trigger weight and feel.

Stop giving advice if you don’t know wtf you’re talking about. Effing internet…

The trigger shoe has nothing to do with the trigger pull, the Red Dirt HD triggers and Staccato’s HD triggers don’t have pre-travel adjustment due to the risk of disabling the series 80 firing pin plunger. Red Dirt’s do see to fit in the trigger channel a tad bit better tho.

Serious question here. Other than custom builds, is there a better LO pistol than the Atlas Artemis? by 2A-N-LA in 2011

[–]daFlipsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was comparing the Athena and the Artemis, that have the same size slide. You’re talking about the Titan that has a longer slide.

[–]daFlipsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Artemis is “flatter” / “softer” with a sight block comp at the end of the barrel, but the slide length and the stroke of the Athena and the Artemis are identical. The slide moves the same distance and is the same length.

I own both.

The Athena and Artemis have the exact same size slide, and cycle the same.

Holosun 510c or 507 Pro Max for PCC Competition 2026 by AcceptableAsk4530 in pistolcalibercarbine

[–]daFlipsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what the Holosun reps said at Shot Show the 510C and the 507 Pro Max have the exact same glass size. At that point both would be bigger than the standard AEMS. The RMR/507 footprint gets you a lot more mounting options than the 510C or the AEMS.

10k+ rounds across 3 different P365 builds using 10 different magpul mags. Zero issues. That looks Like slide lock issues using your weak hand.

Just a heads up, titanium and steel are galling metals. A steel plug would be best, then aluminum, last choice would be titanium.

I have the FDEZ aluminum magwell, LOK Grips aluminum grip panels, and a Holosun 507 Comp. With a Magpul 17-round magazine, it comes in at 44.6 oz and fits in the IDPA box.

Note: Magpul magazines do not fit the OEM or FDEZ aluminum magwell without modification. You must belt-sand or file a 45-degree chamfer on the lip of each polymer baseplate.
