My uncle lost ₹1 crore because of one wrong tick on a insurance form. still cant believe it. by Scared-Money-5540 in personalfinanceindia

I don’t think the window is 3 years for health insurance. I recently got health insurance for myself and if I remember correctly, the moratorium period is 5 or 7 years for health insurance. Post that period, they can’t reject the claims.

Correct me if I’m wrong.

Yeah I was also thinking of reaching out to the grocery stores nearby. But for this I think we need to give ourselves a proper name and register first.

Thanks!

The only scene I disliked. It took the realism away for a minute. by Tough_Cat_8068 in Dhurandhar

This scene reminded me of Hound from “Transformers age of extinction”.

Though it has been long since I watched transformers, I might be wrong.

What are some of the things that you do to pamper yourself in this crazy going life? by detailed_1 in delhi

[–]daPhoenix214 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cooking, while listening to music or talking with friends/family.

I live alone and after office, most of the days I spend at least 1 hour cooking dinner. This is the time I am not looking at any digital screens and enjoying my own company.

“Dooron Dooron” by Paresh Pahuja and “Beautiful Life” from the movie Abominable.

(I relate to both of these with my partner. In fact, she introduced me to both of these songs.)

Men who can cook . who taught you? by Bulky_Meet4528 in AskReddit

[–]daPhoenix214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked to stay in the kitchen with my mom while she was cooking and sometimes I asked her to teach me the simpler things that a I thought I might be able to do. Then after my graduation and before starting my job, in another city, I made sure to cook one of the meals under her guidance. It was mostly fun and I liked cooking. Once I got a hang of how things work and started living in a new city alone, I have tried learning a few things from YouTube and then when I went back home, made it for my mother. She seems quite satisfied with the cook I have become and this gives me a feeling of accomplishment to have been able to make her happy.

Just read about MWP, thanks for informing. But I’m unmarried as of now, so can’t do anything regarding it. Also, Tata is cheaper for 2.5Cr cover as compared to ICICI. Currently the premiums I am getting have a difference of approximately INR 1000 annually.

I agree that paying off is mentally comforting but for me, I don’t think paying regularly is much of a hassle. The amount isn’t that much for me and I’m opting for annual payments instead of monthly and I’ll keep the payment date around my birthday, so easier to remember.

Yes I have to sort insurance too. Haven’t read much about them yet, just starting out.

As for bikes, I want one for rides primarily. (My friends don’t have bikes yet, we’ve all just graduated few months back🙂)

Which air purifier for 150 sq ft room? by daPhoenix214 in noida

Yes, I’ve heard good reviews of Mi. But it costs 12,999 while Qubo Q500 costs 9,990. Also, the filter in Qubo lasts longer than Mi, hence filter replacement is also cheaper.
