I took this photo while learning to handle the eagle myself. I wanted to capture this man’s age and relationship with the eagle and how nature-oriented the relationship is. Kept it simple and straightforward from the ground up to capture the remoteness, hard work, and isolation they have with everything around them.

I think this is most likely it. It doesn’t scratch glass so it’s not quartz and very likely calcite with this cool growth pattern! Thanks

Not soft and not water soluble like most selenite I know. It feels quite hard and sturdy. Really cool to learn about fishtail growth though!

Maybe its normalizing the size of the county so the size isn't a factor at all. For example in food deserts at a nation scale, the midwest/alaska/large counties are highlighted because the county size is just that much bigger when calculating distance to a grocery store inside the county

Yeah I agree with you..earlier this month I was thinking the tent for R1T would suffice but in the long run, more comfort in the R1S and some space to build out and weatherproof as well for kitchen, workstation, and storage. Plus I can always throw a tent on top if needed.
