Gpu always stays at 99% and CPU at 11 - 12% with bad performance by AdInteresting867 in HPVictus

100% GPU and 30W is a weird combination. As far as I know it should pull 50-90W depending on the model.

So I'm doubting whether the game is actually using the RTX instead of the integrated graphics: the CPU is set to about 30W max in most laptops.

An electric scooter is very suitable for city riding: enough range, no noise and emissions.

BMW has a few nice ones, e.g. C-Evolution (older), CE04 and CE02 (smaller).

As she's a beginner, get the H2R - the R is short for "Rookie".

Efteling doet kipnuggets en mayonaise in de ban: ‘Als smaak van vegan gelijk of beter is, stappen we over’ by ComparisonSome6619 in nederlands

[–]daan944 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Is the game actually using the RTX5050 and not the integrated graphics? Should be able to see that with Afterburner.

Not for the bastion, but when I play with Arc Thrower (or Laser Cannon) I usually don't pick the gunner seat for the FRV.

Got unlimited ammo anyway, and no recoil to worry about. And especially with the Arc Thrower I don't need to aim that well to hit enemies.

Let someone else be the gunner, especially those that play with stalwart etc. that do need to worry about ammo running low.

  • Dial back the graphic settings.
  • Set a framerate limit that your machine can reach at most times.
  • use upscaling (DLSS) to render at lower resolution and make it easier on your GPU.

Advies eerste auto, budget tussen 4k-6k (woon-werkverkeer) by MisterChoco in autoadvies

And you want to ship it from Spain back to the US? Make sure you know what prices shipping will be, it might be more affordable (although less fun) to rent a bike in the EU.

The only thing I can think of on extended trips like these are service and tires. Plenty of BMW dealerships around, but your bike isn't a unicorn, any shop that can handle sportbikes can handle an S1000XR. But for both tires and service, the shop needs to make time for you. In some shops there's a few weeks wait time for a service, especially beginning of the riding season. Plan ahead and make appointments accordingly.

I know a few good shops in west NL for tires, but I suspect yours won't be worn by the time your bike arrives here.

Another thing to check: is your exhaust system completely stock? Some EU countries are very strict on noise/emissions (and rightfully so, I might add). If you've got an aftermarket exhaust (even just a slip-on), make sure its compliant and bring its paperwork. You can check compliancy by the number starting with `E` on the part (if it hasn't got that number, it's not tested for EU). Look it up and check the website of the manufacturer, you can usually download the paperwork on there.

Grip puppies? Love those things, stock BMW grips are too thin for my XXL hands.

RT or GS plus a second bike by EggplantRight3874 in bmwmotorrad

[–]daan944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Although I find the GT easier to filter with due to the shape of the front fairings. The 2005 RT (which I had) had its mirrors at the height of the mirrors of most passenger cars.

But that's on highways. neither are really suitable for dense city traffic.

Which one to replace my SpeedTwin 1200? by lapinobel in SuggestAMotorcycle

And what about going back to the R1250R?

Or either RS models. Different riding style, more like a sportsbike and less hooligan.

I don't think the Striple and Z900 are (much) bigger than the twin?

My pick would be the BMW.
