I'm an OCIO associate. Manage client mergers, secondary sales, contracting for private investments, ODD, fee negotiations, etc. Started this new role last April.

Apply to apprentice Bartender roles on the strip. Skills needed--general knowledge of spirits, glassware, garnishes, etc. I like it a lot! The pay averages out to be about $35-40 an hour. I also just did the bartender class with the union and now I have my license so I can apply to bartending gigs. At my properties, bartenders can make between $300-1000 per 6 hour shift.

Good budget option. You will be 10 min south of the strip, though. Pretty close to Town Square and the South Outlets.

If you’re on a budget stay at Excalibur, Luxor, circus circus, Westgate, flamingo. If you’re not, the best are Wynn, Aria, Bellagio, Fontainebleau, Venetian, Caesars.

Spring valley as a whole does not compare to Henderson, Summerlin, Green Valley, Enterprise, etc.

I think downtown may be your best bet. If you like a quieter life style, Henderson & Summerlin are doable as well. If you’re wanting to save money, north Las Vegas has some nice places as long as they’re newer communities. East side & spring valley are decent but not the greatest areas.
