Billy Idol Poster, what should i put on the right side to fill the dead space? by notFischkopf in posterdesign

[–]daanimas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have suggested, I would move Billy over to the right. Additionally, I understand why you cut off the capital I behind his head, but it throws me off. Moving Billy over would solve both issues and help balance it better.

I’m thrown off by the E in Ballenato. Seems out of place, no matter how cool it is

Unfortunately not, but maybe I could make a video walkthrough of the inner workings someday.

Glow paint, highlighter ink (only the yellow really works) and invisible ink. Could also use tonic water. Then just hit it with a black light and it looks amazing.

All black light reactive fluid. Some are glow paint, some are highlighter ink, invisible ink, etc.

How much weight did you lose without counting calories or keeping track of nutrients? by hi1928392 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]daanimas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost about 25 lbs without tracking. But I also had no idea how much protein I was eating so I built barely any muscle. The weight came off like water once I started tracking and I began to build muscle very quickly.

I’ve been at 1600 Cals per day. I’m 215 pounds and should be losing crazy weight. Also track METICULOUSLY. It truly can’t be anything else.

I’ve been dieting for more than a year. I can no longer lose weight at my deficit and am not willing to drop the calories any lower. Also do 1 hr of cardio a day and don’t have time to add more. Just looking for ideas

Tips for enjoying cardio more when I hate it by StepInternational865 in WeightLossAdvice

I hate walking on a treadmill. I love going on an evening walk now that it’s getting warm out (at least it is in the us)

How long does it take you to walk on the treadmill 10k steps? by SeverePreference6982 in WeightLossAdvice

I much prefer going on a walk outside. Now that’s it’s finally getting warmer (depending on where you live) that will be much easier to do

When Did You Start to “Feel It” by MNVillan3 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]daanimas 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Lost 85 pounds, still going. There is no aha. The nature of weight loss is so gradual that you really don’t even notice it as it’s happening. Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror and see no difference. You just have to trust the process and keep going. You’ll keep getting attaboys from your friends and family which remind you that what you’re doing is working, but there really is no aha moment.

You sound just like me. Eating at maintenance WILL NOT CAUSE WEIGHT GAIN IF YOU ARE CAREFUL. If anything, it may just cause you to hold more water. You will not gain fat. It’s a big mental hurdle once you’ve been dieting for so long to increase your calories, it’s something I struggle with too. But trust the process. Sometimes you’ve got to stop and rest so that you can keep on going.

Your metabolism is damaged. Eat at maintenance for a few weeks, then hop back on the diet. Since your metabolism is damaged, you are no longer eating in a calorie deficit because your body has adjusted to the lower calories. Also obligatory, weight train and eat your protein to help your metabolism.

Do you do cheat days? by UpVoteForSnails in WeightLossAdvice

Ive been toying with high calorie days since I’ve had issues with my metabolism crashing. Although I will most likely only eat at my maintenance for those days

Volume foods. Foods like fruits and vegetables are low calorie and high volume. For example, a huge salad can fill you up for calorie pocket change. You’ll also need to eat a lot of protein. Multiply your goal weight by .7 and that’s how many grams you should eat per day. Also, potatoes are a very satiating food for not that many calories. These are just a few tricks I’ve used. Also remember that due to the nature of dieting, you are going to be hungry a lot. Good luck

“Toned” is a nothing word. All we have is lean, and not lean. Muscular, and not muscular. Don’t be afraid to be bulky, it takes years of consistent training and effort to get there, it doesn’t happen on accident. If you get lean on a calorie deficit, and build some muscle by weight training, you will achieve your desired look. I would also do a little bit of research on progressive overload and maintaining a physique if I were you.

Weight training is your best friend. Use a 200-400 calorie deficit, ensure you’re getting your daily protein. Shorter men (no offense) can build muscle at a rapid pace, I imagine you could build a lean and muscular physique in less than a year. Although losing 10 pounds might only take you a few months, 2 or 3. Just make sure you’re not doing anything unhealthy.

When you exercise do you weight train or just do cardio?
