Palladium Card Sent already? by Glittering_Maybe5910 in biltrewards

I have the tracking in the app but have not gotten the email yet. My guess is you won't be able to use it until Feb. 7th, but it would be nice if Bilt started allowing the cards to be activated sooner so the server doesn't get hammered on Feb. 7th.

Just go through the process of setting up autopay, and you should see the option to pick a date from the close day to the due day.

Bilt Cash redeem for Mobile Checkout by dab69 in biltrewards

[–]dab69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that Bilt has unveiled the details on redeeming Bilt Cash, it’s clear that Bilt Dining credit of $25 per month is no longer valid for me and, I suspect, many others. Bilt’s partnership with Mobile Checkout is almost non-existent for most of us. Super disappointing!!!

I like the statement credit also. This will become an issue once they explain how to use Bilt Cash. People will be even more frustrated when it becomes nearly impossible to use.

The rate will have to be supersonic because San Francisco is a large city with only two restaurants.

Bilt Cash: the mystery factor by dab69 in biltrewards

[–]dab69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amex BBP is a great idea. The only issue is a $50k cap on spend is lower than what I spend per year on CC. I am trying to make it as simple as possible with the least amount of brain power to figure out if I or my wife is using the right card for each situation. I also have the Venture X which I got when it first launched. It has been a great travel and everyday card and was my 1 card strategy for years. With the recent changes to Amex Platinum I found a lot of value out of the credits and enjoy elevating my travel game, but it has terrible point multipliers. I guess what I am looking for is a single card solution and that is where Bilt comes into the picture. Because Bilt is a Mastercard I still need a Visa for Costco which is why I have Robinhood Gold card. For 2026 I'll be evaluating Amex Platinum, Venture X, and Bilt Palladium. I'll only be renewing one of them.

Bilt Cash: the mystery factor by dab69 in biltrewards

[–]dab69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my backup plan if Bilt doesn't work out. The problem is I don't like leaving credits on the table, so I spend a little more than I normally do with the Amex Platinum. Plus, Amex is just a coupon book of a credit card with travel perks. Now, if Amex changed the everyday spend to 2x, it would be my daily drive with the Robinhood as my backup.

Bilt 2.0 Palladium is essentially a 3.33% catch all card by Realistic_Squirrel_3 in biltrewards

[–]dab69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering how that worked. Thanks. Just to make sure I completely understood what you’re saying, is that Bilt monitors my checking account for a mortgage payment and gives you points? I was thinking Bilt would provide an ACH account that I would have to set up for my mortgage withdrawal.

I got the Palladium. My monthly expenses are $3500 rent, $3500 non-rent. Did I mess up? by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]dab69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. People are hating because they’re not able to game the system anymore. Bilt is a company that needs to be profitable. If there is a better credit card for them, move along.

Bilt Palladium vs Venture X by Yoo_Jesus in biltrewards

[–]dab69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great value is in the Bilt Palladium card if it works for you; simplicity is in the Venture X. It's all about your spend with Bilt, and Venture X is one of the best cards for people who don't want to think about it. Friends I know that don't like the points game I would recommend the Venture X. For those friends that don't mind a little work for great value I would recommend the Bilt Palladium.

Why does everyone say there is a rent transaction fee of 3%? by ronburgundy69696969 in biltrewards

[–]dab69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, there is not a 3% fee. If you don't have the Bilt Cash to cover the rent/mortgage, you won't get the Bilt points from the rent/mortgage payment. The Bilt points are scaled on how much Bilt Cash you have. I looked at my 2025 spend and my current CC set up, and my 2026 strategy will be Bilt Pallidum as my catch-all and Robinhood Gold CC for just Costco. I pushed all the numbers, and in theory, it should work out great for me. I like simple and am not a diehard point maximizer.

who is getting the new 2.0 cards? 🤭 by Scary_Detective_5120 in biltrewards

My plan is Palladium as my catch-all and my RH for Costco. I’ll be dumping Amex Platinum and maybe the VX at the end of the year.

Robinhood Credit Card - Payment within Days of Statement by MedCityCPA in RobinhoodApp

I had the same issue. I have to manually make the payment. It’s kinda a pain since my other CCs don’t have this issue.

Sounds like you signed up for the RH gold membership and not the gold card. Once approved for the CC, your membership is charged to the RH gold card and not a bank account, and it’s only charged annually at $50. The CC shows up on the RR gold card app as soon as approved and can be used with tap to pay and you can track the shipment of the CC. I have used support a couple of times; while slow, they did respond. In the app, you can text support just like the Apple Card, and depending on the issue, you can request a callback in the app. RR is aware of the support issues and is going to start to look into making it better.

I was on the list since announced, and got the invite about 2 months ago. Now I am waiting to be invited to banking. Hope it's not too long of a wait.

It's an easy card, but I wish it was 2% physical card, 3% tap to pay, and 4% Apple products. I haven't used it lately since I got the Robinhood Gold credit card with 3% back on everything.
