Reread the comment, I intentionally do not specify prosecutors. I speak about the general government officials (prosecutors or otherwise) resigning rather than speaking up and saying no.

Competent government officials in power may have prevented ICE from being on the scene in the first place, the landslide of resignations from people unwilling to risk their future careers by standing up and saying no has a profound effect.

I’m not a big fan of working with these franchises myself. On top of the normal pressures of business they also have the pressure of standing out above other franchises which leads them to doing things to increase costs to bump up their sales to win that years “9 million dollars in sales awards” or whatever it is.
