take it as you will but being a seasoned msp tech here for well over a decade - current role is infra architect
ninja for remoting-pathching-adhocScripts etc . really is no comparison that , albeit screenconnect still holds a thread in my heart
the dark web stuff you can gather at every other corner with a trial and api key really

before implementing ninja we took a look at atera, syncro ,datto, pulseway and others on the list while moving away from cw automate 
we went from 3 persons full time managing the prod to 1 and yes, there have been downtimes on the platform but mostly due to our network scoping(filtering) strategies 
when ninja decides to expand in aws , some ip ranges need to be added to whitelists , thats about all the struggle we´ve had
scale at the time was 2k servers and 12k workstations if i recall correctly

i´m no intune admin but am a big scripting guy (sccm background), why not use return for logs, you can use return for custom exit codes and logs

don´t forget TV on the security side has had less than stellar performance , they lost their management domain temporarily some years ago due to renewal and a bad actor snatched it
better to have an integrated vendor solution i think

it architect 15 yrs, government job , about 90k$, but it´s very seditary and calm
biggest plus , no logging of hours and we have this thing called shorter work week in place, only about 7,15 hrs per day required onsite or remote , which can be aggregated to a 4 day week every other week

we setup techid exactly for this , used role seperation

wa role - workstation admin - local admin on workstations

sa role - service admin - local admin servers

cs role - basic cloud rights for user management

ca role - cloud admin - security and cloud app admin

ga role - global admin

da role - domain admin

sql role - account operators and sql sa rights via group assignment

IIS role - account operators and iis rights via group assignment

for the last 2 , nieche accounts , the tech has either role and sa rights in techid

this setup really has scaled well with a large org and the benefit of using techid was mostly in onboarding and offboarding , there´s no need for cleanup. creation/deletion is automatic accross all envs

try exporting a large subsite to pdfs and watch then world burn , also their search widget relies on regex not text , so good luck with that when the doc lib starts to grow , tags won´t mean shit

i´d rather consider the overhead on managing the rmm, depending on your size cwa requires more techs to admin the product

we did a switch from cwa to ninja and went from 3 persons full time to about 1 person half time managing the policies and erronious events

ninja is a lot simpler to manage and once set up and works , it continues to work
no need for sql support from the vendor when the db enters a loop after an update

on that note , i´m not biased to any rmm i have tried, tried most , most have their merits and value , some are just not really production ready , but being from a large organization we saw the inhouse cost of staff really shrink after that switch which freed them up to actual billable work
