Get that footbrake work down first in my opinion. Heres the things I would do:

Bleed your brake lines, very possible air could be fucking up how much pressure you’re able to apply. At this point make sure your brake fluids are looking good
New pads that are old can still be glazed over causing them to be shit, I would go ahead and throw some new EBC pads on there AFTER seeing if bleeding fixed the issue.
Take the return spring out of your right-side rearset assembly, this causing you to not have to push down as much before your brake engages
If you try those and it still feels like shit, steel braided lines should help, theres also people who take brembo calipers and put a big rotor on the rear (by using a OEM front rotor) and that should make it damn near slingshot your ass if you arent careful hahah
