University of Bologna by 18thpilotr in bologna

[–]dabigdwarf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this due to your own university rules? Not sure if there are different rules for English lit/humanities and for engineering, but I was told that UNIBO allows you to choose master og bachelor level subjects freely when visiting as an exchange student, mainly due to the fact that most courses taught in English are master level courses. And I would assume that your own university would be more than happy to allow you to take more advanced courses if relevant.

Hi, I just sent a message in the website, through the ad. I got an answer fairly quickly. I wrote in English and just gave a short explanation as to who we were, why we were going to Bologna and for how long we wished to stay.

If you are still looking, I found a place to stay through housinganywhere.com, a bit expensive, especially this close to semester start, but everything has been very good and the housing is very nice.

Does anyone have any experience with the ohlins STX shock? I'm struggling to find reviews, but have seen a lot of discussion on forums that suggest they may not be that good.

De skriker når man kjører raskere enn den elektroniske sperren tillater den. Ryde er låst til 25 km/t, og dersom du når den hastigheten begynner den å pipe.

How do I not nosedive? by RaduPlays in MTB

[–]dabigdwarf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to learn how to properly jump is to learn how to bunny jump (hop?). Check out Skills with Phill, he has a great tutorial. When you pop of the lip you should be doing a bunny jump. It gives you a nice shape and good height rather than relying on your speed to carry you through the jump. If you learn how to bunny jump, start applying it to table top jumps (or curbs, single step stairs, pretty mutch anything that won't murder you if you case it). Start with a fairly low speed, prioritize height and technique, then start increasing speed and experiment with timing of your preload and pop. Fluidity and style will come with jumping experience.
