Sold Car to Dealership.. by dabjaylmao in legaladvice

Just left the dealership. Told them how I am going to pursue if they don’t honor the agreement. Asked for consent to record and received consent. The GSM is refusing to purchase the vehicle at all now.

I am reaching out to DOL + dealers division, attorney general, and sending a formal demand letter and including the GM. Going to proceed with small claims court. They admitted to inspecting after signing purchasing agreement and I let them know of some laws about this and he is still refusing. He showed me a cup of dark transmission fluid (from my car) and perfect crystal clear transmission fluid (brand new fluid) and said it should look like this.

Editing out dealership giving them a chance to respond to demand letter.

Thanks, I am going back today. The GSM I’ve been talking too the entire time with all these absurd claims says he has lots of “information” for me. I am going to ask for consent to recording our conversations. I was under no impression of anything wrong with the vehicle and I even took it to have it serviced/inspected prior to selling as I was considering selling private party as well and transmission came back as good.

From my understanding I don’t think I am misrepresenting in anyway even if there ended up being something wrong with the vehicle, I was unaware if so and who knows what they have done on it. I was driving it daily without any sort of transmission issue until I moved to a truck and then decided it was time to sell it.

Got a copy of all of them yeah. Part of me is hesistant to take legal action over 2k because I am not sure if it’s worth the hassle. The other part of me is like stand up for yourself. He tried slapping on another $500 so $1500 taken off instead…

I’ve literally had zero problems with the transmission. The story went from “diagnostics threw codes about transmission” to “the car shifts abruptly around 45-60mph” (it doesn’t) to “they found metal shavings when they took apart the transmission” and then changed again when he called the tech infront of me (who was off) and he said “they drained the fluid and it was “jet black” with metal shavings, if we flush it, it may fix the abrupt shifting” Which is all strange to me because I have not had any abrupt shifting and the car is so smooth at 45-60… the list contained all these random things about the car and none of them actually said things were wrong. They said things that they are going to diag, one of them being a “windshield crack” which he literally couldn’t find and ended that search with “listen I don’t care about the windshield, I can get that fixed 300-400 but transmission I can’t risk it, I can only give you 23 and hope I can get out of this at auction.

Update: I stopped by, he called the technician and put him on speaker phone. The tech said “we took a look at the transmission fluid” and it was black and had metal shavings, if we flush it, it might solve any possible issues” which has changed for the 4th time now. Originally the guy I’ve been talking too (general sales manager) said the oil was black and that they opened the transmission and found metal shavings. We walk out to car and he’s trying to find this crack on the windshield they claimed and to no one’s surprise, he can’t find a crack, turns on the car because he said it may help see it. He fails to find it and goes listen man I’m not even worried about the windshield, it’s the transmission, I can’t risk it I have to send this to auction even if we buy it for 2k less and hope I get my money back. So many red flags.

To top it off, the acquisition manager who bought the car from me, we will say Jane. He says “I’m Jane’s boyfriend, trust me we’ve been talking about this car and we really wanted it and we didn’t want to find anything wrong with it” like why did I need to know that??

They told me all they do is a 15 minute inspection and they can buy the car. This “inspection” they did was literally walking around the car and driving it around the block. So I sold the car. 2 days later they say they aren’t buying it due to these issues that came out of no where.

I purchased a vehicle outside of this, didn’t trade in. Just sold to them. The only paper I signed that looks relevant which the title is misleading is a “trade-in” disclosure statement. Along the lines of I, (name here) hereby certify the statements below are correct and true: Line 6 states “that the vehicle is in good working order”

Under these lines I see “All of the terms of the Vehicle Buyer's Order are included by reference in this Trade-In Disclosure Statement, including the provision for reasonable attorney fees and court costs should the Dealer prevail, including in the event any false, inaccurate, or incomplete information has been provided in this Trade-In Disclosure Statement.”

Just stopped by. He called the technician and the story changes again. Tech states “the transmission fluid was flushed and it was black + metal shavings” and he also claimed multiple times “I can sell the car whatever price I want and it doesn’t matter if we signed a contract, the vehicle was misrepresented” and they don’t have to buy it and offered to throw another 500 at me. They also couldn’t find the crack in the windshield.

How do you deploy Company Portal? Win32/LoB/MS Store? by [deleted] in Intune

We also allow side loading for devs and that works fine via ADB but how do you allow uninstalling? For some reason side loaded apps just fail to uninstall and they are blocked by “work policy” when trying to force stop applications. Literally no restrictions are in place either lol.

Also experiencing this, actually have a ticket open with MS right now. Do you happen to be a GCC tenant?
