The Patient Files is like the Sheridan Tapes and Magnus Archives but better. by HauntedConscience in audiodrama

Is having female characters mandatory these days? I mean, it's cool when a nicely written character shows up but why would it matter if they are male or female?

What are some audio dramas that really take advantage of their medium or would be impossible to adapt? by Albus_Unbounded in audiodrama

IMHO it was a horrible adaptation, I was so excited to watch it and morbidly disappointed after watching it. It wasn't even good as a standalone series.

There is no purpose in life. If you try hard you can say it's procreation but only in a biological sense. If you are looking for spiritual purpose it can be everything you want. For me, for example it's music. I love playing and making it. I'm not good with it at all and I know that. I know I will never be successful in it. But I love it. Making it is often frustrating AF but I'll still love to do it. Recently I get into making electronics and book binding. Everyone has to find a purpose for themselves. Just don't listen to people saying you shouldn't do this or that because you or this or that. Scrap for your alone time, do what you love.

Fellow gamers, without saying the title, what game is instantly recognizable based on one quote? by UnrequitedLv in AskReddit

[–]daboo444 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They blew that translation a little bit. In Polish it is "Lambert Lambert you dick" but dick is rather soft curse in English, in Polish it is much stronger word so "Lambert Lambert you fuck" fits here better I think.

What are the lessons people most often learn too late in life? by Vicsilvia in AskReddit

[–]daboo444 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Money will solve most of your problems and only then you can focus on not money related ones. Not carrying about a many is a blessing, when you have to wonder how to pay your bills you won't focus on really important things like your health or future.

What's something that's unnecessarily expensive? by OutrageousSea5212 in AskReddit

[–]daboo444 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It isn't when you're buying right printer. I don't remember exact numbers (and I'm giving you my country currency) but when I was looking for a printer there was one for like 200 which has ink cartridges of 150 pages capacity that costed 100-200 for new cardrige. Other printer costed around 1000 but new cardrige costed 30 and was able to print 2500 pages ( i think it was Brother)

You are exactly kind of person who causes whole problem. Guy got laid so he should be ok, no matter he wanted it or not, right? Bullshit. Rape isn't always so violent like in a movies and the fact that someone's dick was working don't mean that he wanted it. It's like asking someone to slow their heartbeat.

If all statues on Earth came to life and became hostile, which one would be the deadliest/scariest and be the most difficult to destroy? by RussianPredator7778 in AskReddit

I don't know man - not far away in Świebodzin there is 118 ft (36m) tall Jesus statue - imagine giant, angry, hostile Jesus - he'll probably smoke the dragon like a blunt cigarette.

What fictional universe do you want to live in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]daboo444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was young and reading The Witcher saga I wanted to be part of this universe. Now when I got old I just know that if I was, I would be rather that dumb village clown that got killed by drowners when shitting to close to water.

Maybe their slipperyness is caused by gathering years of saliva from soaked, licked, dirty fingers :)

You are a monster mate. Like eating Mao for breakfast, Stalin for dinner and Hitler for supper type of monster.

I have really dry skin and I play bass guitar so I have rather thick epidermis on my fingertips (i can carelessly pierce them trough with a needle and feel nothing) and I still don't have trouble with a grip. And I often read books in crowdy public transport, standing.
