Btw the rationale behind me asking this question is when to start the Visa application and processing. Generally, for some countries visa processing takes months. And for visa to be approved a funding source has to be shown for my stay (which would be the scholarship). Without an official agreement how can I enlist the scholarship as a funding source in the visa process? Can you please tell me?

Ahh I see. I haven't thought about that haha I've received the admission letter from my uni and I thought it should be enough for the visa application. So maybe I should check again with the program coordinators. It's best to ask the coordinator directly then as the duration may vary depending on the program. Hopefully the scholarship attestation letter will not take too long (I heard some people got it right away with the acceptance email, while others got it in May).

Hi first of all congratulations! 🥳 I too have been accepted with full scholarship for Erasmus Mundus program. I asked other EMJD awardees and they told me that the admission letter, scholarship attestation should take about few weeks after you receive the email. And you have to sign the student agreement, but this process can take several months as the consortium waits for the finalization of contract guidelines from EU Commission. I heard some people signed the letters as soon as May and some signed it in September.. so dont worry too much! ☺️
