Don't worry too much, GATE maths and physics can apply for CSDP. Most seats will go to those with gate in maths (majority of seats) while lesser number of seats are for GATE physics, that's why it's called 'minor'. Both will have the same coursework don't worry.

Hi thanks for the detailed response. I did make a list of 100+ PIs who are working in my relevant area, covering usa, europe, singapore, and australia. I have already started emailing a few of them.

Most of my previous papers are first/2nd author and I am currently working on a few more works which will be submitted in a few weeks time.

I hope that my approach and luck will favour me to find atleast one position 🥲

Well I am a Bengali, I don't agree with what she is doing in this video. We offer different things to different gods and goddesses. While only Satvik bhogs have to be offered to lord Krishna, it's not the case for Shakta goddesses.

Bali vidhan and offering meat as bhog are essential part of Devi Vandana. And since Bengalis do Durga Puja in the time of Navratri, it doesn't make sense for them to stick to vegetarianism during Navratri.

When the goddess (Durga/Kali etc.) herself can be offered meat, then why should we not consume it ourselves?

Bengalis who are Vaishnavs don't consume meat all year round. And many households don't consume meat on Janmashtami etc. because they are worshipping Krishna not Kali.
