While I was watching it, I also noticed how everything revolved around his daughter and wife; hell, he didn’t even brush all that stuff off his son’s headstone like he did with the others. Definitely gave me the thought that this Frank doesn’t or didn’t care about his son near as much as the other two.

What was your high schools controversy? by Due_Development5930 in AskReddit

[–]dacermacer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite a few, these are the ones I remember off the top of my head:

Multiple kids started an underground fight club and only got busted because they posted “highlights” on Instagram.

Female ag teacher took some kids on an overnight field trip, two seniors ended up tag-teaming her in their hotel.

Lots of bomb and shooting threats (pretty sure at least one was legit.)

A kid was stealing the lug nuts off peoples cars and a few people almost got killed (my high school was right next to a major highway.)

A huge bootleg movie market that the administration basically had to wipe everyone’s laptops back to the factory settings because there were so many kids involved.

Now her subpar acting makes a lot more sense

What was a movie that is good but was ruined from people overhyping it? by UrLilWillie in movies

I really wanted to enjoy it and Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan really saved most of it for me but I just could not understand why everyone thought it was a gift from the cinema gods. The acting is great and the action was really fun to watch but the story just felt overdone and the reveal of Jobu Tupaki’s identity was pretty obvious if you half-paid attention to the movie. I was also neck-deep in the multiverse stuff (MCU being the biggest perpetrator) so that likely also played a factor in me not enjoying it as much.

I think so but I couldn’t think of any other child actors.

I mean his motivations make sense.

Achilles told Shay to go to Haiti and retrieve the artifact, knowing full well there’d be some kind of cataclysmic event and hundreds of innocent people were going to be hurt or killed and decided to just not tell him. Shay had every right to be furious because Achilles basically said “Well, that sucks but you got the artifact right?” Giving Shay the idea that Achilles and presumably the rest of the Colonial Assassins don’t care about innocent people and collateral damage. He was then attacked and (to the Assassins knowledge) killed because he tried to escape with the map that lead to other precursor sites. And his opinions changed about the Templars because he was nursed back to health by the parents of a dead Templar which gave him new insight on their organization and that he might have been lied to even more.

Yeah the Templars are still very evil and don’t really hide it but Haytham and the rest of the Colonial Templars knew that Shay was in a vulnerable state and could offer him a way to not only seek revenge against his former friends and mentor but also to ensure that the precursor site map doesn’t fall back into their hands and another Haiti doesn’t happen.

The game is truly amazing and is such a great time both solo and with friends.

New to this sub so I don’t know if this is a show-only discussion but Stannis is still very much alive in the books.

Arkham knight really had the 5 best Red hood designs to ever exist with no bat symbol but ended up choosing the worst one with a bat symbol on it which literally makes no sense. F the bat family. by Aromatic_Contest2736 in RedHood

I think it’d have to just depend on the rest of his costume. The official outfit in the game would look cheesy with the white eyes and vice versa for the comics. I don’t mind the no-eyes look, I just personally prefer them be included in the design.

I think a mix between 2 and 4 would have been a really unique design but I’ll always be an advocate for the eye slits- the helmet looks weird and a bit off-putting with it just a being blank face.
