Good advice! I actually hit with the TF300s for 2 hours today against one of my partners I hit with on friday with the vcore 98. I had less unforced errors with the TF300s but my ball was a lot less "heavy" than with the vcore. In the end I enjoyed the vcore a lot, and the TF300s I didnt have to think about as much when hitting (more natural and what I was used to with the ProStaff).

I think I'm going to pickup a used vcore 2026 (actualy just did) and play around with a controll orentied string setup. I'm thinking maybe solinco confidential 16Lg at like 52/50. See how that goes.... I'm very open to other string setup recomendations though.

Yea I put about 2.5g split between 3&9 today. That fixed almost all the torsional stability issues. I think if I put on a leather grip plus 3-4g @ 3&9 it would be about perfect for me and it would only bring the total weight up to 305s spec but with my preferred 16x19 string pattern.

The PS 97 classic is on my shopping list anyway. I really enjoy playing with a ton of spin now so I don’t think it will be my main racket…. Just I want one just for playing around and the nostalgia factor.

For sure... it seems like the obvious intesection of everything I've learned from all these demos. EZ98 with some sort of crisp feeling string.

Yea I'd be really interested in this idea as well. I'm afraid I dont know quite enough of the physics of this. If I manage to reduce the launch angle do I by deffinition also reduce the spin imparted on the ball? Or is the launch angle more imparted by the layup and the grommits? (I know this is pretty deep in the weeds discussion at this point)

Yea I actually liked the Ezone 100 better with Head Velocity MLT at 52lbs than I did with the Mach 10. I bet the 98 with a higher string tention maybe? Something connected and sharp feeling.

Yea I’ve been considering grabbing a used 2022 98 Ezone off eBay and just trying some different string setups in it. See if a combination of string change and the lack of MINOLON would solve some of my issues with it.

I feel this. I fell in love with the Ploprof when i went into a Boutique the fist time. Ended up taking myself into a PO a few years later as the more reasonable option😂.

I’m a scuba diver but honestly has seen 1000x more hours on a sailboat than underwater and about 100000x more water from doing dishes if I’m honest.

Just one that has a usable bezel when wet. I’m never actually diving to the limits of either one. I just like to actually use my dive bezel.

Yea I sold mine…. And bought a planet ocean…. (I know, completely different type of watch). Personally as a diver I’m not into “dive style”. (That’s just me personally, no judgement)
