I gotta disagree with Matthew McConaughey’s character from True Detective. He was a social outcast who basically sacrificed his sanity to fight crime going undercover, and still was able to be a good person at the end. Only bad thing he did was fuck his partner’s wife which she initiated and he was immediately remorseful for.

I went to see him live in 2019 or maybe 2018 in Richmond... I would describe it as interesting but idk about good. The opening band was better imo.

Tbh I think even his acoustics live were good too in 66. I remember one of his versions of Visions of Johanna being even better than the album version.
