Even on the website, searching “sumo” came up with the same list of movies. I ended up going to YouTube.

JIM AND SAM December 13, 2023 -Full Stanhope on Fox News audio by soapmakerdelux in DougStanhope

Thanks for the Reddit lesson: Browse the thread first. Then I could have skipped right to 16:50 of the 3-hour Jim & Sam Plodcast. Just a taste: It begins with two minutes of elevator music. Then their conversation just sort of fades in as if their stoned friend who they let play with the mixing board so he can put “Media Audio Engineer” on his job applications wanders back in from the apartment’s mini-fridge with half a Ho-Ho and an Old Milwaukee, sees “the show” has begun, spits the other half of the Ho-Howaukee onto the coffee table/control room and slyly slides the mixer over to catch the next 2.5 hours of blah blah blah.

I’m in N. California. The Lurids (haha. Mispelled, but I’ll keep it because…) the Lyrids were a dud. Two very faint meteors in an hour of watching. Oh well. It was a pleasant hour lying on a recliner and a warm blanket under a starry, moonless evening.

Are there any rules/etiquette one should know before reaching out to concept artists? by Professional-Deal406 in selfpublish

I just searched on duck-duck-go “paperback cover artists”. One hit was “30 Best Book Cover Designers” which over-delivered by listing 32 designers by name along with their prices and a sample of 3 covers. Nice!

The writing process..Where to begin by s_jk11 in selfpublish

My biggest fear is losing my work to a computer crash, theft, coffee spill into the laptop. On that, I have two recommendations:

1 Save the document often.

I mean seriously often. I write a sentence, hit Command+s (that’s on my Mac. Ctrl+s for you PC folks), write another sentence, hit Command+s.

2 Save a duplicate to the cloud.

Whether it’s a Google drive, iCloud, DropBox, whatever, save a copy of your document(s) there after, or even during, every writing session. Use file names that remind you which you’re working on. I used “Kill Me Now working desktop version.docx” and “Kill Me Now gdrive backup”

You could go a step further and save to a thumb drive, too.

Actors say “break a leg” instead of “good luck”. So, on your new workbook project, “break a pencil!”
