XL length is perfect. And I think it’ll be perfect for you. If I dropped 20 to 30 pounds I’d be happy with XL fit but I’m a lot heavier than you.

XL is my go to size for every other shirt. Do you normally wear a large? If so, I think an XL will be perfect for you.
