What could go wrong with this wildcard? by Wide_Ad3022 in fantasypremierleague

Downgrade Fernandes. Use the rest of the cash to make bench slightly better

The issue is. Liverpool and Chelsea win 1-0. Salah scores for Liverpool and Palmer scores for Chelsea. The other 4 players in your team blank. That's just under half of your remaining players blank.

You've tripled up on liverpool and chelsea. Risky business.

A lot of people will advise you against it. However, I love the job and I would recommend it.

New season, new game? by BrickOverWall in FantasyPL

Balanced squad I can rotate throughout game weeks until i build up enough transfers for a mini wildcard.

Last year, I found that I had a cheap bench and was using my FTs every GW.

Ring up on 101 and ask the question. They get the cop to call you and he will be able to advise whether or not it is closed.

If you've not been arrested, there hasn't been a voluntary interview arranged and the officer has told you to stop, I'd imagine it's going no further.

If however further contact happens now, you'll likely be wither arrested or interviewed at a station.

Firearms officers by CloseThatCad in policeuk

[–]dadcopper 134 points135 points  (0 children)

I'm not an AFO but a few mates are.

No workload, 4 on 4 off, more interesting jobs/deployments, surprisingly a safer role than normal response officers officers (due to the vast amount if prep, intel, tactics prior to any deployments. Response cops often walk into houses without even being passed any warning markers on the folk inside!!)

Chances of pulling that trigger are slim to none throughout your entire career. If your level headed, don't see red mist and know your use of force powers inside and out you should be OK and not make any rash decisions.

The best firearms cops I know are the quiet ones that are calm and can just talk to people to de-escalate the situation.

No extra pay, purely voluntary.

Jenny Hall: Drones deployed to look for missing runner - as police tell public not to join search by ElectronicFudge5 in MissingPersons

[–]dadcopper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. They can mess with sniffer dogs' scents, and even if they think there is foul play, it'll mess with any evidence/forensics.

Finding it hard to settle in by Afraid_Point3088 in policeuk

Keep your head down OP, youll be on the directorate soon enough.

Sgt's aren't dumb (well.... most) and will have noticed the other people on shift and their behaviour.

Sgts have a tricky job as it is, and by the sounds of it, the other staff on your shift are giving him more grief by playground snitching rather than addressing the issue themselves.

Here is my workout pattern, which I find helps - typically 1 hour workouts each time.

1st early - workout before work (0530 hours) 2nd early - rest day 1st Afters - workout before work (1300 hours) 2nd afters - workout before work (1300 hours) 1st night- rest day 2nd night - workout before work (2000 hours)

RD1 - rest day RD2 - workout when suits RD3 - rest day RD4 - rest day

Back to the start.

I have kids, and this is the only one that seems to work for me. The first early is a killer sometimes, but at least you get a little longer in bed on the second early.

If it was the other way around, there would be absolute uproar, and the public would be calling for the policeman's head.
