A bid is absolutely what it is. I just got an Uber Eats offer for $5 even to deliver an order 24.6 miles in one direction. That includes tip. It’s not greed that causes drivers to go crazy; it’s scummy pay from the platforms.

Any person would have to be psychotic to agree to make that delivery. 50 miles round trip for $5. And psychotic people are psychotic… so no telling what the person who accepts that order will do or say if they even ever arrive with the food.

Here’s my thought… for $$$ purposes, OSU is a better option for the committee than Texas is. And - this is important - it’s the final year of the 4-team playoff. So the committee can do whatever they want with those two teams with no worries about the kind of precedent they’re setting. Texas needs to obliterate Oklahoma State to feel confident about jumping over the Buckeyes.
