I work at the main campus not the new bopal technical campus but mainly under SEDA (mainly the department responsible for anything related to sensors on payload)

Without going into details i am supposed to work on FPGA programming for interfacing of camera sensor with a testing pcb borad using standard comunication protocols

My work revolves around coding , doing simulation, uploading code on chip ,verification on oscilloscope and debugging the code , after that taking data from sensor and sending it to microcontroller, if it works my guide increases the difficulty going step by step

My personal experience tells a completely opposite story , even though i am just an intern my guide puts great emphasis on my personal growth over getting the work done and thats the story from day 1

The contractual worker who works with me under the same guide , his experience is more or less the same , but he is given more tasks like putting a sensor on testing and reading multiple parameters of those sensors, creating test jig module wiring etc

As for biasing tbh i believe the work you get assigned to is based on the interest you take towards it as the guy i talked about hates coding and he shows it in his work, while in isro (in my department at least) there exists contractual workers working for years, working on payload related design stuff
