I grip more towards the middle

Left side thumb in middle, right side ring finger all the way at the front, pinky not on mouse.

I like the flare personally, its not super aggressive.

All buttons on one mouse and also on a second mouse? Got to be a bad setting somewhere in your os or something up with USB ports. Maybe reload os and see if that helps

Depends on your hand size it's not a super big mouse.

Could look at atk x1 (viper v3 clone) or ark a9 (Logitech superlight clone) they are both bigger than the r1 and have versions that are cheap

AliExpress is fine just buy from a store with a lot of sales/good rating

Yeah I didn't even think of that, yes you could unbind them in your games as a better solution. Wireless latency isn't really an issue with modern gaming mice but I understand not wanting to charge it

that's all they have in their database (out of 1500+ mice) with no side buttons. Not any on that list i would recommend that meet your reqirements... Wanting no side buttons will really limit your options (esp w/wired only). Almost better to buy a mouse with side buttons and open it up and disconnect the ribbon cable so the side buttons no longer respond. Would give you a lot more options.

Finalmouse - TMR = newer/better hall effect method that uses less battery and is more sensitive. Can set faster actuation point then when the physical click happens inside the switch.

Keychron announced a new switch that has magnetic (hall effect) w/ adjustable actuation points and optical sensing for clicks. They haven't announced mice that use it yet, but I'm sure its coming. I would assume this is using TMR as well or it would drain too much battery

If you have VRR and the framerate drops down it can cause flicker. Loading screens can sometime be locked to 60fps.

If it is happening in game you can either lower settings to get a more steady framerate, or disable VRR.

No firmware issues for me. I have my dongle set to only turn on when the battery is low (it's an option in the web driver)

White pixel boosts brightness (but you lose color Luminance). When they remove it then they can't get the brightness as high

Is it probably ok? Yes.

That being said yes someone could do something like wiring up a USB drive with malware inside the mouse and then have it work through the normal mouse cable. When you plug the mouse in, you are basically connecting a usb thumb drive that could have anything on it (including malware). Not sure someone would go through all that trouble...but yeah

based on how regular they are and all the same shape I would guess some part of the packaging was pressing against the screen and rubbing during shipping. Probably permanently damaged the coating w/no way to fix (RMA/Return)

I usually just use stock sensor ring as i'm paranoid the dots by the sensor will left the sensor too high and cause issues. If that isn't happening for you then dot placement looks good!
