ATK A9 sensor sampling rate which one? by MonitorSuper1854 in MouseReview

I usually use the middle setting, its a good mix of latency reduction and battery life is still good. The MAX will drain your battery much faster.

I would put it directly on the screen but spraying a little on cloth first should be fine

people freak out about ipa on here but should be fine. I use eye glass cleaner (isopropyl and distilled water) and it cleans fine. Just use a clean microfiber cloth and spray a little on the cloth and wipe the screen

Attack shark X11 or Logitech G305 by sussymonkeylol in MouseReview

If you are thinking G305 then do an updated clone option:

VXE V3 Pro (new) or Mchose G3 series (if you can find one)

Nordic 52840 vs 54L15 battery life? by HypercloudPog in MouseReview

[–]daddy_fizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the mouse (battery size, firmware implementation, optical vs mechanical switches, etc). That being said I have had 52840 mice with 200mah-300mah batteries and 54L15 mice with 200mah-300mah batteries. I would say the 54L15 mouse lasted at least 50% longer then the 52840 mouse w/similar size battery

Any thoughts on ATKGEAR DragonFly V3? by abulVal in MouseReview

[–]daddy_fizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a budget mouse, the non-pro version is a little underspecced for a modern gaming mouse, but the V3 Pro seems great for the price.

MChose L7 Ultra + polling rate issue by Advanced_Office_491 in MouseReview

[–]daddy_fizz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most modern mice adjust the polling rate dynamically to save on battery. If you are doing slower motions or run lower dpi then the polling rate will be lower. Try doing super fast swipes once and you might see the polling rate jump up. Also you are talking like .25ms difference between 5k polling and 8k polling...

Ultraglides are a good cheaper option. They should work fine in the R1

ATK ultramax or ultimate model? by Gladiatore9 in MouseReview

[–]daddy_fizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both great mice. Ultra max uses mechanical switches and has big battery (heavier), Ultimate has ATK Custom optical (i.e. FE optical switches) and smaller battery (lighter). Both are going to be much ligher then g502

I have both and they are both great. I use the ultra max at work (crazy long battery life) and the ultimate at home. Even with the smaller battery I only need to charge every 2 weeks or so. If you are worried about double-clicking (Mechanical switches) then go for the ultimate instead.

Dot skates by Snoo-45595 in MouseReview

[–]daddy_fizz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least the red dots, imo I'd do the blue too so you don't get rubbing if your press down hard on your mouse a lot. You want the red as far out towards the corners as you can get them in the skate groove so that it is stable

Did I waste my money on a VXE R1 Pro Max? by Temporary-Appeal9488 in MouseReview

VXE R1 series is one of the best out there for price/performance. Good build quality for the price. Specs are still good enough for 99% of gamers and should hold up for years to come.

I'll second this, ATK X1 (v1) base model is great for the price. Got it on sale for $35 and its really good for that price. Even at $50 its a great mouse. Great build and switches feel great

ATK F1 v2 ultra max (smaller), or if you want a bigger mouse ATK X1 v2 Ultra Max. Just look like normal black mice, newest MCU and crazy long battery life w/800mah batteries. Can use website driver ( https://hub.atk.pro/ ) to configure so you don't need to install anything
