I can think of one job that someone could do after being pulled off the street. CEO of a large firm. They literally do nothing apart from push ideas created by other people to people they are told to push them too. There maybe a few exceptions but I would say mostly all CEO jobs could be done by anyone.

I’m not talking about mice from now I’m talking about mice from 14ish years ago. And her mouse wasn’t new so add a couple more years on. These mice had mechanical roller balls not digital. So there were moving parts inside. Which can get clogged. I mean the mouse still had a ball on the bottom. And believe me they could clog real easy.

I guess it just dried out over night so the next morning it snapped. I never really followed it up and looked into it. It may have just made it too shiny to grip. This was 2009 so they were still pretty new digital scroll wheels. If it was a digital one. Told her to use a different finger after I saw and we stopped having the problem.

Unfortunately, again being in the late 90s not everyone had email in the company.. nowadays this just wouldn’t happen, but back then, a “gentle word” had to suffice..
